DislikedSure - but the Close time of the previous bar is almost exactly the same time as the Open of the current bar. It is certainly near enough!!
Or am I misunderstanding your meaning here?

DislikedHmm..
Okay, so for velocity we need:
a. The current value of TGSS (changing constantly)
b. The previous value of TGSS (set in stone)
c. The time difference between the two values.
To calculate the time difference we need the current time minus the previous bar's closing price or the current bar's opening... ahh I see what you're saying
So, (a-b) / c = velocity.
And just to confirm, for our acceleration we'd need to have:
a. The current velocity as calculated above.
b. The previous velocity as calculated for based on the previous two...Ignored
Dislikedsorry, little mistake: PA crossed HAMA but HAMA didnīt change colour. This was the point, that it was a false signalIgnored

DislikedHooray!
Ah, and is there a way to reduce the flatlining so that we can get more meaningful acceleration & velocity readings when we hit the ceiling or is that something where the indicator values perhaps need some tweaking? I've tried playing around a bit but the flatlines just seem to come at a lower number instead.
Sorry I realise I've continued to ask numerous questions. I just feel like I'm getting close to understanding yet there seem to be some niggling issues that arise at each step.Ignored

I said very clearly a while ago that I would NOT share the EA. But I am happy to answer other questions regarding my general strategy. I want to to focus on trading this thing now so I will look in from time to time.

DislikedI wasn't going to bother posting any more of these, but seeing as how you insist...
Up 736 pips (ish) (73.7% on account) in the first 48 hours. Almost all trades on EU. Just the odd venture into UJ and GU.
Have a great weekend!!
