Indeed. A couple of small hints... (1) Not sure that stoch will help you more than SC because with stoch you can't vary the phase, with SC you can, so you get a tad nearer to Nitro. (2) Look very closely at what Happy is saying about the application of BB to Renko. My +10/+20/+30 target info is all in the deviation...

Ok, no problem, It might turn out to be a winning one
first it was down 12 pips now only 8, using now just 0.01 cent
per pip, after losing 20% of my account in few days. Still not clear use SL not
use SL usually I just hit sell and that's it, but I would like to have a
discipline so far as I can see 10 pips stop loss it's too low..
20? and only go for 5 pips profit? then need to be at least 5 winning
trades for the 1 loss.. I'll try to figure out something..
BTW trading on TEST accounts and LIVE ones it's a apples and oranges..

Personally I don't even want to screw with having people at my house attaching the EA. Maybe TG could add an extra lot to each of her trades and just send me the money made from that extra lot.....

I use a live Micro account and the MT4 demo from the same broker with good results, as the price feed matches closely. You can detach the "advanced dealing rates" icons from the Micro and float them onto your MT4 charts, set up "one click trading" with preset TP and SL and you have a wonderful C4 or Nitro "plunger".

There are any number of indicators available to tell a trader the same thing. The indicators only become an issue when a trader suffers analysis paralysis while trying to choose the eight different ones they want to use.

Anne has come a long way in a short time, thus we witness both envy and spite to some degree. The 'techies' have been welcome in this thread from inception. It is the efforts of those individuals that allow us to trade either C4 or Nitro in their present forms. So, I am throwing them some 'props'.

As for traders, this is as simplistic approach to trading on a short term basis as there is. PA crosses a MA and is confirmed by one other indi and the mechanical setup miraculously appears. Again, 25% of work is complete.

The discretionary aspect of actually taking the trading opportunity is a completely different story. Thus we have the other 75% of the equation. It does not matter how many charts are shown isolating and marking these setups, a trader who is not prepared to follow their trading plan is doomed to fail. It is admittedly difficult to get ones mind around a scalping plan such as those provided in this thread. Conventional trading rules and parameters are thrown out the window. Nothing we can do about that. You either accept a high hit rate plan as fact or you don't. Always good to have those options.

In addition, the 'ea', or robot trading surfaces quite often for obvious reasons. The shorter the period traded, the more an 'ea' is sought. Has been this way for quite a while now.

As for me personally, I spent many a year trading by visual means alone. Same as with most others here. Only relatively recently has an 'ea' been developed and integrated into my trading efforts as an augment to such.
As with Anne, anything developed proprietary in nature has value based upon its effectiveness. While the FF in general is a melting pot, or think tank even, of various opinions and ideas that is cost free to its users at this time, the material within FF is simply to be reviewed and implemented or discarded at each individuals sole discretion. This has been stated on every forum thread at one time or another. Sometimes nicely, sometimes not.

There are seemingly more and more individuals showing up in the 'flavor of the month' thread daily. It does have a ton of valuable information held within.

I still think that, at less than three (3) weeks old, it is best to simply demo trade the base plans as set forth until a person can make an informed decision as to whether or not they prefer this or some other methodology. It is important to gain some manner of proficiency at any method you choose to trade.

Asking for the sharing of a valuable and time tested 'ea' simply is not going to happen in this venue. There is only so much one can get for free. It is only after doing the work necessary to achieve some consistency and profitability will one find a few other 'tools' that will help them cross that next bridge.

I can appreciate 'Mombone's' comment on Anne setting forth 'ea' results as I too divulged info with Nitro that should not have been so. On the other hand, I think that it should be more of a motivating factor than an irritation to see what is indeed possible if you apply effort for a while. I see that some think they are ready and deserving of such tools, but I am sorry to say three weeks is not a good trade off for such. I really do not see previous trading experience as a criteria for anything either. While there are certainly some very accomplished individuals taking an active part in this thread, none have more than three weeks trading THIS plan.

That said, everyone who came to the thread at the beginning is on the same playing field so to say. Newer patrons have a bit steeper learning curve. However, each chart shot is worth 1000 words as visual association and retention are powerful tools all by themselves. A small paper clip at top right has all the indi's one could possibly want, but you still have to start making trades in order to form an opinion.

As mentioned, the tools needed are right there in front of you and there will be no short cuts. You can either wrap your mind around this methodology or you can't. Plenty of others to choose from in FF though. Again, got to love those options.

Anyone think todays pa was a little tougher then the last few days more tight range bound? Or is everyone thinking todays PA was good? Just wondering. I have made a little money today but just wasnt sure about how everyone was faring with the tight action.

Thanks for the tip :-), I don't kknow if it was just me or not but the last few days I have had disconnect problems with the FXCM MT4 servers, which is why I keep demo accounts at several brokers, just in case.

What you are missing ia that because they are Renko bars, any or all of those trades may have gone to +9pips (less spread). So in fact it is possible that on several/many might have benn possible to take a +5pip profit. Again the fact that it is Renko bars makes it impossible to how far negative the winning trades might have gone before ending positive.

I have a hard time with renko, I really like CRB bars. There's no hidden price movement in there so it's easy to see if it went 5 pips for you or not after entry. Makes it pretty tough to visually backcheck with renko methods.
I have been playing with c4 since inception on CRB bars, as well as m5. I don't think I'll be in the renko camp very soon.

Yet more proof that a bunch of people working together can produce some great things. After your post, I dusted off the ole 8,3,3 stoch that I used some time back. I have eliminated all the other indicators so people can see just how accurate and easy this thing is. I've made the stoch lines bigger and colorful, because I like it that way.
Quite simply, as Edge likes to keep it, only take long trades when the blue is over the red and you have a blue up Renko block and blue HMA, and the opposite for a short trade. Keeps you out of lots of false signals.

100% positive trades since started testing C4 nitro.
I always enter with limit orders 3-5 pips above/below forming renko bar.
I'd love to be able to program this into an ea.

Is there only one company that sells the Renko script? The reason I ask is because I was going to purchase it last night and the site that everyone has been buying it from only accepted European bank wire xfer and Paypal as payment and I don't have a Paypal account.

Or did I maybe not understand the options? I have never had a Paypal account so I know absolutely nothing about it and i was kinda hoping I could just use a credit card.

Not that I have a problem with setting up a Paypal account I was just wondering if maybe I wasn't missing something. I mean, am I the only person on the planet that doesn't have a Paypal account?

I think Edge has repeated this a dozen times now, Renko/Nitro is designed for Yen crosses.

Pls post a screen shot of one of your trades to show your settings.

You can open a paypal account with an email adderss. You then put your credit card down on their system and make a payment.

It comes off your credit card as "Payment to paypal"
