For me today was good day, caught both the run money and congestion money. Sure couldn't ask for more, only what ever she would give.

Summary of current situation:
Range trading roughly between 1.4 and 1.41 has dominated since wednesday's low as those who think the economic recovery/risk trade scenario has gotten ahead of itself run into bargain hunters who see the ECB more likely to exit QE mode than the Fed, particularly after better-than-forecast German jobs and EZ survery data released overnight. A strong US stock market opening after mixed Claims data drew EUR/USD off the NY low by 1.4105 back toward offers defending 1.4100. A late having in stock gains tugged it back toward 1.4065 into the close.

An IMF report noted signs of economic recovery in the Euro Zone, but cautioned that fiscal and monetary policy would have to stay supportive for some time. ECB's Weber noted the obvious, that credit will be more expensive due to the credit crunch; little choice in the Hypo bailout. Euro Zone CPI and Jobless Rate are lead-ins for the US GDP, ECI and Chicago PMI on Friday. Traders will be working the 1.4000/100 range trade and breakouts at week's end with 1.4200 the initial upside target and 1.3920 the downside.

OutLook for Today:
Today is the last trading day and be aware of end-of-month fixing, especially considering the relatively low liquidity in the market. With all of the huge moves in equity markets this month, we might expect fixing flows to be rather large.
