Special 5 decimal Market Price Indicator

Does anyone have or able to modify a Magnified Market Price Indicator so that the last digit is either smaller or a different color?? Trying to make the transition to a 5 decimal broker for a live account and it's hard to make the adjustments mentally while trading.

Here, I overlapped 2 labels to form this effect. sometimes you'll be able to see the overlapping when the fractional pip is 0. that's probably due to price moving too fast for processing. either way, it's not frequent and last for a second or two, plus... you'll just have to live with it. haha.

Hi, Zen. Just today, ODL changed to 5 decimals which I don't like. So, this indicator is great. Can you tell me how to put it in the top left corner of my chart, please?

Ok I hope Zen doesn't mind me doing this.. He does enough help here thought I would save him some work..
Added adjustment for the corners, plus user input note..

Zen I did have to modify the internal code to compensate for the left and right side of the chart, it should work correctly with whatever you set the right or top offsets to.

Interesting way you did this, I would have taken days of throwing things against the wall to figure out how to change the last digit only.. don't think I would have thought of this.

I have the same problem here, but I'm quite used to this indicator below which basically does the same thing, can someone here please PLEASE PLEASE modify the code of THIS indicator to look similar like what zen has posted ??? if it's not too much trouble.

Just to make the last digit smaller and different color.

Tom,

Thanks for the good work. It is throwing up a small error though, with non forex pairs. e.g. Wall Street futures and Crude Oil. See attached.

Hi HB,

When Zen wrote this he did only for the 5 digit broker as that was what was requested by piphunter.
So you would have problems on other type of brokers or commodities.
So my question is does the main part of the indicator work on the futures and oil for you? Making it read for a 4 digit broker is no big deal, but I am unsure about the rest.
I don't have time today but will work on it over the weekend as long as Zen doesn't mind me changing his work.
Could you tell me what broker you are using for the non=forex items and I can see if they have a demo I can test it on.

Honest Bill The link didn't work so I will download odl direct from their site... Try this first test version and see if the 5 digit part is working for you. I have to add function for digit switch and overall alignment. But wanted to see if I was in the right direction with you. Also would it be better to have the last two digits change or just the last one.

Tom, I've got used to Zen's indi now at the top right .
Your modified version is working fine for currencies only.

Really, unless somebody else is crying out for your help, don't go to anymore trouble.

I appreciate your effort.

All you need to do to display 4 digits on the right is to drag the top bar of your window to the right so the last digit is no longer on your screen.

You can then extend the left window frame to fill in the left gap.

No need for any complicated programming. KISS principle

This indicator uses the same pricing code incorporated into the TzPivotsD_v3.4 Indicator, which works for 4 point and 5 point platforms as well as for non-forex items.

I prefer the 'Market Price Bold', because it eliminates the 5th digit all together and changes color with price movement

hey guys , sorry for the newbie question,

I put 'Magnified market price.mq4' and 'price_englarge_v1.mq4' into my

/experts/scripts folder,
and then I reload MT4, go to the navigator, and click to execute (either one of them)...

I can't see the price display changing anywhere?

Can someone help me out , do I need to put the files in another directory?

Put them in the experts/indicators folder. Also you need the .ex4 files, the .mq4 files are source code and can't be used until they are compiled in the indicators folder.
