You sure don't see those two goods being substitutes in Econ101

Haha, just tuned in to Bloomberg Radio. The first thing I hear is some guy saying that 140 analysts see s&p at 1200 soon! Hahahahahaha, that's good news!

Selling all rallies..

The guts of the June durables report look pretty good… as non-defense capital goods orders excluding aircraft, a proxy for private business spending, managed to rise 1.4% on the month after a 4.3% increase in May. The disappointment to the headline was all in the transportation sector, which fell -12.8% on the month. This was due to the fact that seasonal auto shutdowns occurred in June this year when they typically occur in July. Thus, this sector will be a net contributor to the headline in a big way next time around. Equity marts have yet to react positively and perhaps the China news is still weighing here. Right now it seems like selling rallies in risk makes the most sense.

yeah would not take much to get this thing up to 157 / 158 if es goes up today

or we could have some form of range day 156 to 155

As has been stated above, S&P lower G/Y higher, disconnected. Looks like its testing a few Fibs and doing its own retrace at the moment. We'll see what it looks like in a couple of hours at the 4 hr close. Frustrating but thats G/Y
