this highly depend on broker... I only test forexpeacearmy 3*/4* broker and good reputition ones in ff.

fxsol promise that they only profit from spread and I am well convinced with that.... they have a track record of self treating as if a real market.

they do not want you to blow up and lose money,
example is min position is 1000$/min deposit is 250$,
that ratio 4:1 will not blow up easily.

I see scam brokers allow 25$ acc to trade 2000$, 100$ acc to trade 10000$... in that case their only interest is your initial deposit.

I will test out fxcm-uk standard acc cc handling and will let you know.

May i know how secure is credit card deposit? For example, FXsol aus needs us to fill in the 3 digits verification code. If they have this code, dont they will be able to use our credit card details to make other online transaction?

Can anyone pls advise me on this? Thanks in advance.

yes, 2 way currency exchage cost 2% of capital for me.

also 2 way international wire cost quite much if playing with small money for learning.

I actually put in my own currency in cc and my cc will allow me to buy with same worth of USD w/o a real currency exchange...

if I cancel back before due date, the 2 way cur exchange and 2 way wire cost is saved...

I still regard this as a way to trade my real money (I have same amount cash put in cc of my own currency)
I have no interest in trading virtual money to make a profit though.......

Why dont they remove all the profit's cause if you cancled the deposit how could you claim the profit's.

fxsol?

they only cancel initial cc deposit back to cc as is same with any other broker... profits can only go by wire or check (check is free but slow)

I am is okey with that...

main way I use cfd is to short in this acc to hedge risk
where my home stock do not provide short tools, I have long position there.

so either I make money here lose there, or lose here make there...
so on average my profit expectation is 0 minus spread fee

I care the delta of 2 acc and it's okey to keep tiny profits in that acc.

when I start this post and do the 1st live trade in fxsol, I think I lost 1k here and win 2k elsewhere.
it was a later hedge trade that lead me to +1k profit in fxsol and a little loss elsewhere...
in essential I am not trading against fxsol but use a way to offset my risk holding a 1 direction position...

in extreme situation I can blow up here and get same amount profit elsewhere; or double here and lose same amount elsewhere.
absolute p/l may seem big but if you do a lot of deals, the p&l are fairly distributed so it's not likely I always make money from one broker and lose in another.

actually fxsol treat cc deposit as real money, they req money from my bank 2-3 day after cc deposit, in between I believe they have unused margin money to fill this gap.
again cc deposit is real money and trade (by concept) is real and profit/loss is real... there is no reason to remove it.

we're serious trading this real money and the only thing saved via cc channel is 2 way currency exchange and wire fee...

safety of fund would be a least concern if I trade with fxsol, oanda, fxcm or interactivebrokers... they are too big to be interested in small profits.

fxsol aus operates funding at 11am EST... it seems the same person that handle fxsol us funding is handling fxsol aus...

I guess they just opened a operating license in aus to work -around NFA for CFD, gold trading limitations... but still operating from US except for a little number of trading support in aus.

funding safety point of view I think it's same old alcohol in a new bottle. hehe

one interesting thing handling funding from Headquarter seems to me a positive because the funding people never ask if my trades profit or loss, they just do the funding rules agreed when I open acc...

it's different where in some small bucketshop's withdrawal department seem to link with dealer-desk and your withdrawal, how legal is your trade profit, and what is your later trade experience seems to be inter-related... withdrawal can trigger revisit of your trade legalness... etc

in a more regulated market, deposit and withdrawal of funding should be executed by 3rd party bank there has no profit/loss relationship with the broker function... I think it's worthwhile moving to that direction and independent finance dept is a 1st step.

I consulted fxsol.aus and btw registered a mt4 for free in 5min and no doc required since I already have GTS CFD FA acc...

they will use universal fund transfer form to move GTS money to mt4 once acc done... downloaded mt4 and installed,

good except big spread on E/U=3 hahaha. same as GTS, 250$ min acc, 1000$ min position, don't see a reason I need to go fxdd or other non ff preferred broker at all.

note for fxsol.us mt4, in the end he mention that fxsol.us mt4 can move to fxsol.au continue hedging and no FIFO req

//note: I am a pleased user and not a rep of this broker and are not profiting from posting this. posting just for cobra's info.

One GTS platform, Four ways to trade Forex and CFDs. Click here to learn more.
You are now chatting with 'Robert'
Robert: Welcome to the FX Solutions Australia on line chat service. How may I assist you?
Robert: hi
me: hi
me: I have a GTS CFD acc
me: wanna know what to do if to open a mt4
me: live
me: and if funding wise is shared
Robert: to use the MT4 platform…you need to have a MT4 account…
Robert: MT4 is a separate account from GTS FX account…and you need to apply for a MT4 account…use the online application...in the comments section write your GTS FX or FA number and we can apply your documents to the new MT4 account…applications take 1-2 business days to be processed…the MT4 account will not be created until any required documents are received…then the account number and password are sent by email…
Robert: then transfer the funds out of the FX GTS account and into MT4 account using the Universal Transfer Form
Robert: you can also send new funds and do not have to transfer funds from your GTS account…MT4 accounts require a minimum deposit of $250
Robert: "Applications require up to 2 business days for processing.
Please complete the MetaTrader Online Application for an individual account:"
Robert: https://online.fxsol.com.au/LiveApplicationMT/Individual/default.aspx
Robert: To transfer funds from your GTS account to a MetaTrader account, please complete the Universal Transfer form and submit to [email protected].
Robert: funds are not shared
me: ok
me: so I will fill all the forms right?
me: fill the online form?
me: what is min position size for mt4?
me: 1000$?
me: ?
Robert: yes....
Robert: The Default lot size is 1.0 (100,000).
You change the lot size when the Order window appears in the Volume window. There is a drop down menu in the Volume window to change your lot size.
0.05 is a lot size of 5,000, and it goes as low as 0.01 which is a lot size of 1,000 (micro lot). You can also manually type in the lot size.
Examples:
Type 0.1 for a lot size of 10,000 and 0.20 for a trade size of 20,000.
When placing a trade for a size of 1.1 (or 110,000) or higher you will have to Request the rate and then place the trade when the rate appears by clicking on either Buy or Sell.
*The order window will default to the last lot size you set it for
me: min is 0.01?
Robert: yes
Robert: kindly read what i posted and explained the LOT sizes
me: ok
me: I know mt4
me: if you confirm min is 0.01 or 1000unit I am fine
Robert: yes
Robert: 1,000 is the smallest
me: any fee for mt4 acc?
me: if I already have FA acc?
Robert: no
Robert: there is no fee
me: ok
me: my CFD is through fxsolasia.com(waihui168.com)
me: in referer do I still fill them?
me: for simple
me: actually I don't care who
Robert: yes
me: ok
Robert: enter it on the MT application
me: yes
me: I filled FA#FA******
me: so no document needed?
Robert: correct
me: good
me: ok installed haha
me: min is 250$?
Robert: yes
me: oh
me: I've got no ### of mt4 live acc yes
me: yet
Robert: wait until we send it
me: so I wait till mt4 live acc # confirmed and fill the form?

me: no it's from forexfactory, if you can move I'll just have them come to talk with live support
Robert: yes--that is best
me: I don't know their acc# of fxsol us mt4
Robert: Is there anything else I can help you with today?
