I am using trail stop; it will move my stop loss to breakeven once it move 1X of the box and my target is 2X of the box height...
Lets focus on trading here.

I am long on EJ and GJ. GJ is at very crucial point. If it can break the resistance at this point. No looking back, 160 will be a very much within reach.

Trading is SIMPLE not EASY.
Hopefully to clarify some of the uncertainty above. I also trade off a different platform than ACE, but I have downloaded the FXDD platform so I can stay in sync with ACE.

The opening 4H FXDD high/low candle was 156.22 / 155.14 and then add buffer and spread.
[my long entry is 156.22 + 20 + 7 = 156.49]
[my short was 155.14 - 20 = 154.94]

If I am wrong in my High/Low box, please let me know

By shifting your SL to BE at this point is serverly limiting the room that the trade has to run, and essentially mature. If you are locking in BE just because you dont want to loose then you need to do a few things and the first thing is to look at your plan.

IF you dont have a PLAN then you need to create one and incorporate the risk that you are prepared to place and loose, and understand that you need to accept the loose part. There are no easy ways to trade but by letting your emotions lock in BEs, especially when this system is based on a weekly maturity factor, that is the end result is either your Take Profits are hit or the end of the week arrives, is going to serverly limit your potential.

You need to understand risk. Risk is a factor that you need to absorb emotionally. It is the amount that you are prepared to stake to see if your analysis is correct and to let your trade mature. If at the end of the day you get stopped out, you have accepted before hand that risk and you move onto the next trade. If you find yourself looking for reason to move SL so early in the trade (this is a weekly plan) then you are trading off emotion and you have not accepted the risk.

Would you be happy to move your SL to BE and miss a 500+ pip run that may happen or would you be kicking yourself. I would, much more so than being stopped out and loosing 2% of my capital because I have accepted the risk before executing my trade.

Want to thank you for this great system, it is what I have been looking for. I have been trying it on a demo for 3 weeks (this is the 4th) and total 600 pips so far (after a nasty hit last week, was at 900 something before that). This week looks like another good one.

Think I will go live next week on it. Thank you again for sharing, as a Canadian in Thailand is nice to work from home (hate work permit and visa issues...lol)

I have included the spreadsheet I use for calculating (based on your system). My numbers are very slightly different but I am using FXCM for my broker.

i cant agree u further more abt the risk involve in tis system.

however diff pple practice and allow diff level of risk in their trade.

for me if i cant monitor the trade. i wound put it on S/L @ BE. while others like to lock in profit as it move along tp1, tp2 tp3 or even further.

how much it how much? it really depend on ur risk threshold.

I completely agree with you, if your plan is to move the SL to BE at a point, however that needs to be a 100% thing, not a here and there thing. Likewise with your TPs and SL moving. If you plan states doing so then by all means that is your plan, not your emotion getting in the way of your plan. If a trader is just moving things, or taking profit here and there without some plan or strategy chances are they'll find the back door soon enough.

All in all everyone is different which is what allows the liquidity of these markets. There is a distinct difference however between emotional and controlled trading, even when you in an arena governed by randomness and probabilities. Have a plan, execute the plan and accept that in time you will take some hits and some winners, how you manage the winners will determine how long you play the game.

I'm new to this thread and post. I have a question..what indicator are you using on your chart? I see you have 2 different kinds of indicator: one with a dark blue and red line and another one that follows price action with a light blue and red line. Would you mind sharing these indicators with us?
