I have tried most but will seek out SM's latest and try again. I am a fan of the method generally - it makes so much sense. I am trying to keep my charts as simple and uncluttered as possible so a good indi with the early alert would be a godsend.
I have quite a good RSI alert but RSI is unnecessary if using Trix so have dropped it off my chart.

Hi guys

just updated my Info Indi.
I took away the balance and profit infos and added trix trend M5 and M15 above or below 0.
They are showing only on M5... on other timeframes they are invisible.
Don#t even know whether they show on Renko... have to check this out tomorrow.

Just replace it in your indicators folder.

I think that is close enough to be a fine working model.

As a suggestion, I think that a modification to show just the initial arrow signal is more than sufficient to scalp with. The second arrow that appears as a additional trading oppotunity unfold may just cause confusion to some.

So, in short, if you can go with perhaps the trix candle color change and one arrow for direction, that would be all a trader needs, especially trading a 10 tic brick.

Have attached a clean initial signal chart as a guide for your benefit.

Just technical question if I may about these Renko charts...

"The Renko script intercepts the raw tick data from the M1 chart same as any indy or EA. By default, this is BID data in MT. It then assembles these into Renko bricks based on your specified brick size only, say..."


This part I can understand when the charts are running and you have a live feed coming in.....BUT WHEN you turn off your computer and come back 4 hours later......how does MT4 update your chart....if your using a M1 chart....does MT4 just load in the H/L/C/O of each bar you have missed live or does it provide every tick making up those bars....I would have thought it only provided the H/L/C/O and time...and then on the current/live bar it would be showing TIC data....

Hi Folks

I would be a little more careful with commercial indicators, the fact that FF has a commercial beta forum doesn't mean that we can post whatever we want.

Trying to help here, I found deep in my indicator box a renco indi, it opens in a subwindow but you can draw S&R lines, fib it, draw TL's, add a MA etc.

There is even the advantage that you see on the same chart the candles.

Maybe some of the leaders here can try it and if it's useful you folks can work with it.

If I remember well I got it from a russian forum in mq4 that's why I think it has no copyright and can be distributed for free (if someone knows it better and it has Copyright please PM me and I'll delete the post).

Do I understand right that we can use this with whatever brick size by changing the settings? What does "Renko stop" setting mean? If I change brick size to 5, should I then change Renko stop to sth different from 20?

I tried this before and I don't know if I am doing something wrong with the settings but they are nowhere near the same as I get on the other way around. As we are supposed to go when the candle actually closes on the 5m how can that be done when its a 15min chart?
