dear swing man, could you please add the option in the indi of box breakout signal v2 to can change the color of text and the box? as some times if the next signal is so close the color of text will hide if wanna look back the history to check. thanks a lot and have your good day.

I have been through this thread and find it great. This week I have made good profits just on the GBPJPY and EURJPY.

I have attached a modified box indicator as shown in the chart for those that want it. I am no expert programmer and basically modified it using code from other people's indicators, so thank to you guys.

how should i trade break out stratagy if use ibfx only 1 pending order allowed at a time. should i place 1 order and hope for the best or just buy sell trade?

Hmm, wouldn't writing an explanation defeat the purpose of the acronyms.
For the most part you'll have to catch on like the rest of us have. We were all noobs once, and it doesn't take much to learn them.

BE - Breakeven

BE - Breakeven
The problem is, I could not find the meaning anywhere. I even checked under forex for acronym meanings. TP, S/L etc. they are all pretty common. I have not seen This BE before, however, Break Even is self Explanatory.

I have been demoing this strategy on FXDD. My live account is IBFX. One thing you could do is IBFX let's you split you account into sub accounts. You can go long in one and short in the other.

I have not tried this but I remember getting an email from IBFX about it when the NFA stopped allowing hedging.

SL - other side of Box
TP1 - 1x box size
TP2 - 2x box size
TP3 - 3x box size
TP4 - 4x box size

Sorry but i am trying to understand the basic;

-Do you start with 4 units and scale out on the 4 TP levels.
-Also do the SL remain the same meaning the other side of the Box ?

You choose one of the TP levels that you're comfortable with. The first post mentions that Ace uses 3x or 4x the Box as his target. As you read the thread, you'll note that others have chosen to go with other targets.

The SL remains the same regardless.

That's it. In general, if you choose a lower TP, you'll win more often but take less to the "bank" each time. With a higher TP, your win percentage will be lower but that will be offset by the higher reward. In theory, a higher TP is the way to go because your account can grow without having to win a high percentage of your trades.

As mentioned before, you'll see a number of suggested TP variations as you read the thread.

I find using fib levels a good help in choosing the best take profit levels.

Hi,
If ACE284 is about could I ask if you are trading this system as per the rules posted in the first post, or have you found any 'tweaks' along the way that have improved the system?
