yes, hearing that as well. Only the details are still in fog.

The Banking Human resource, encompasses myrid levels of managers to operations staff. But from a Treasury room perspective, I feel. there could not be much impact, as good treasury officers already work on very flexible schemes of remuneration by performance. Most treasurers lived with the mindset that "A rose by any other name is still one and that if the boss wasn't going to pay to meet the talent, then some-one else would."

My personal feeling is that the greatest impact would be on the infrastructure for Training and development as this is the most unmeasurable on the P&L sheets amongst all the depts in Banks.

And,as you had mentioned, the knee jerk effect would be an exodus of the creme de la creme, out of US strongholds, to other zones. In many ways, NY's reputation as a vibrant Forex center had long diminished, even since the early 90s. In retrospect, new centers of Dubai and other smaller centers are already coming on stream with better perks. Even Frankfurt, Dusseldorf and Antwerp these center are growing rapidly at the expense of London. And with the participation of China with her reintroduction into the world economic scene since. We may likely see the development of new financial hubs there, even the re-renovation of the older vintaged hubs.

Hi Fti and friends,
I have been traveling to Australia with my wife to visit my parents in Tahmoor, south of Sydney. In preparation for the trip, I bought a Asus netbook with a 8.9" screen and a Acer netbook with a 10" screen for Sally, my wife. I must say I really like the little netbook, it is so small and light. I used to dread all the time I spent sitting around airports waiting for planes. Now I look forward to it, as I can trade or read the thread on forexfactory. On arrival I just bought a prepaid 3G sim card and USB external modem and where ever there is a cellphone signal I can trade over the internet as usual. I find the internet in Australia slower than what I am used to in the Philippines but it is good enough to trade with.
Reading the thread it looks like people found the last few weeks a little hard, beening in Australia I have been trading on and off with small positions, and yesterday Friday, was more like a normal trading day for me. I managed to catch a downward movement on the EUR/USD during the start of the Europe opening to 1.4080, later I put in a scout short at the start of the London session and I was going to square out about 15 mins before the USD Building Permits which was marked in red on ff calender. What I really found interesting was that the EUR kept dropping right until a few minutes before the numbers came out, so I kept in and squared out all the troops around 1.4065 area.
Maybe some people knew that it would be a none event, Oanda did not change their spread to 10 but left it unchanged at 0.9 and there did not seem to be any movement one way or other at that time. I did not trade the US session, decided to quit with a small but nice profit.
Looking at the charts today, Saturday, I see that the EUR went back up to 1.4120 area, I hope that the good people here made some money out of the US session.

squared e/u 4170 and watching for reentry as my bias is up above 4156, my scouts in to the south watching how 56 area reacts.

Watching e/u 4228 area for reentry as my bias is to the south from that area, also watching how 4201 area reacts.


So much for plans and terrain, I will follow.

It's so quiet around here. Hope you are all trading well and just too busy to chat. I traded carefully today and did not get much, but managed to get a few dozen pips. Back at it tomorrow. Will check in to see if anyone is here. Am I missing something? Did everyone move to another site? Now I am feeling left out -- lol.

I still read the thread though, just that yesterday I was busy. Busy "losing" pips and busy doing recovery, ended day with net loss.

Classic noob mistake thats too embarassing to say here....

anyway, yeah yesterday was lousy, but has not much damage on me, mentally or bottom line wise, just lamenting the way the week started....

It's just that I feel my rescue is more frequent than attack. I think it's not right. So, I need spend more time to feel the market, to better time the entry so that I can be more closer to real AOW method.

hey imjscn ,
to me attack is more important than rescue ... but when learning , its natural to learn to rescue and then later to attack,

if u cant attack well , profit comes really hard for u , which will make it harder for u to let go a losing situation ,

and there will come day wer losing situation is really bad , when u r completely against the flow , but since profit comes really hard to u , u will be reluctant to let all those profits go and will attempt to rescue such situation , u will eventually end up gambling a lot of money ,
the outcome of this situation is bad whether u lose or win in gambling,
u win , n gambling creeps into ur habit ,
u lose , recovery will take enermous time n power ...

I think its a phase we all have to go thru once or twice ,
but my point is that u've to make effort to attack nicely and that takes a lot of courage ...
