I want to ask a question:
Why you need buying one currency and selling another to make a trade possible?
Pls show me. Thanks

Easy.
Because the is no such thing as money on it's own.
A price only compares the value of two obejct.
Example:
1 Hour of Work = 10 USD
1 Book = 20 USD
1 Book = 2 Hours of Work
1 Hour of work = 0.5 Books

Since you can only profit from price changes you need to have 2 objects -> currency pairs.

Think about the word trade.
Then the word forex.

A trade is exchanging goods at an agreed price.
The word forex meaning FOReign EXchange (Currency Exchange).

Forex is essentially the same as going to a bureau de change and getting holiday money or going into a shop and buying a hammer. It's changing money for the hammer. Or in the case of Forex, money for money.

One thing many people forget, is people actually use forex to change money in vast quantities, it's not just used by CB's IB's HF's and retail traders.

For example, Sony doing a deal to britain and they want to convert GBP to YEN or vice versa. ETC ETC

It would be really cool if we could "buy" money without paying, but in that case they wouldn't be worth what they are.
