I do have a small problem though! Swingman or anyone else who could help. Earlier this morning my MT4 broker (Alpari UK) upgraded the MT4 platform to build 225 and now when setting up this system I cannot get any of Swingman's MTF Trix indis to show up on my chart. The non-MTF ind work great, but not the MTF versions.

Can anyone help?

Me too, nothing happens with MTF Trix indi on my MT4 225. Pls help to keep in line with this thread. Great thanks!

Thanks for you input, but I have already tried both the old and the new versions, coloured and non-coloured. Maybe something to do with build 225 and the way the NMTF indi works. Probably need Swingman to take a look.

I already described it in previous posts. Usual and safest could be ATR(14)*2. But if to go for more pips then there are variations.

Both necessary indicators are attached to the introduction - see page 1.
I strongly suggest that everybody builds up own template depending on what additional indicators or elements he/she wants to use. So, if I send to you my template then there will be a long discussion about what I use and why I use... That is not the intention of this thread.
And one more thing - I am afraid that you should read at least the basics from C4 thread.
Sorry for this kind of answer but that's how I see things.

I have no problems as I use the indicators without alerts until I hear from SwingMan. But if sb cannot see the indicators at all then they should address directly SwingMan. I know absolutely NOTHING about codes and programming. Just use what other kind people post.

hi indrek,

i just went over 2 the c4 thread n downloaded indi smsuper trix_mtf_pv_4col. loaded the indi into my platform. which is also a build 225 from fxdd. the indi loaded n shows as normal. hope this helps. thanks

I have had an idea that if we use 2 Trixes (M15/H4 or H1/D1) for entries then we could use the one that is btw those (H1 or H4) for good exits when trying to get more pips.
I illustrate it with a picture as it is a bit difficult for me to clearly describe it in English.

NB! If going for many pips, it should be a must to move your stoploss to breakeven after price has moved to "our" direction for ATR(14)*2 pips (that in other situation is our target

Indicators are available at page 1. Put them to your chart and you will have a template

I think I have to explain in more words why I am not going to share my template.
1. I opened the thread for developing the system. I do not think that people who do not know how to put indicators to their chart or who are too lazy to do it are ready to help in our R&D work. We do not have ready solutions, we have ideas only.
2. A template is a very personal thing that everybody has to build up according to his/her own style. This is basics of trading - to have a tool that you have made with your own hands and mind.
3. If I will post my template where there is stuff that do not belong to the system but what I like and use for other purposes (incl other systems) then we will have an endless discussion about these additional non-relevant elements.
Let us keep focused. If anybody has an indicator or idea to add - let us see and discuss it. It only can work to this direction not vice versa.
Hope, many of you, friends, understand and share my point of view.

I used Trix 3111 on 15m and 4hr for entry and Trix 4111 on 1hr for exits, entered at 1.6415 and exited at 1.6531

Slightly different from yours, maybe you want to check it.

It is exactly my system. I already described the exit through H1 Trix in one of my posts.
