You would just have to add the line in the other sub windows as well. So if you have price, a trix window and a 2nd trix window, you would have to insert 3 lines, one in each window. That'll give you what you want.

Ok, I'll try to figure out what are you saying.. I guess I'm not experienced with
MT4 as you are.. Not sure yet how to insert vertical lines...

The choice of one MA family (HULL MA) vs WMA is that HULL turns quicker with price than WMA so giving more pips.

TRIX as choice of ONE oscillator, momentum, divergence indicator family is superior with the choice out there.(MACD)

Skyser, at the top left of your chart you'll see various symbols. If you use IBFX, the third symbol from the left is a vertical line. You click on that symbol, and drag it to your chart. Wherever you release that line on your chart is where it will be placed. If you want to move the line, you can double click it, and it will make the line movable, so that you can drag it to another position on the chart. If you want to delete the line, right click it and then you'll get a sub menu. From there, click delete. I hope this helps. I believe IBFX has tutorials....maybe even a video to learn how to use the chart features.

I've come to the conclusion that a 15 minute chart is best for me also. Not so sure that I have to have additional time frame trixes, as there's various small indicators one can utilize that are placed in the top right of your screen. Attached is one I use. Pretty easy to see at a glance what the trend is.

You either need to read an mt tutorial, or do what most people do.

Just click every possible button until you figure out what the hell they do.

1. Glad more traders on the forum are coming to recognise your efficient and genius progamming capabilities. I already know this.

2. Is it possible to add an MTF INPUT in the peak and valley version of TRIX? I am beginning to see something which I will share later but would like to test it out.

I like the idea of a 4TF bar indicator for trix indicator. Less real estate on the chart.

There is a trader on the forum who has 2 TF bar trix on his charts which has been taken from the THV thread. There are so many inputs there I have not had the time to work out all the options to use it.

THought I would mention it. I have attached the indicator I have from there

No .. any line you put into price window automatically goes through all windows. If you put the line in window 2 or 3, it will only be there.

Clearcut trades are not always the norm.

I am also observing placing the one Higher TF TRIX on my trading TF chart and taking the trades from the signals generated from the higher TF.

Glad you have shared this observation too.

Along left side of toolbar, there are three line buttons, one is vertical, one horizontal and one slanted (for trendlines). Just click one of those then click on chart where you want it. You can also change properties of line by right clicking on it once it is on the chart.

One more thing.. if you don't see the buttons we are talking about, click on View>>Toolbars (from top menu) and make sure all toolbars are visible.

It's a 5M with MTF 15M

But I just changed the chart, took off the MegaTrend and MTF Trix and added the Ichimoku cloud with settings 2,3,5... and the colors set to: none,none,none,gray,gray... as well as the cloud mtf from the THV thread with 15M and 30M...

Still my favorite setup!

Always looking into higher TF's here and taking entries from smaller ones to better time them!

Swingman, I don't know what you do for living, and am surprised that you don't trade. It would seem to me with your knowledge of makiing indicators, you would trade. I'll join some of the others in saying I'm amazed at your ability to not only make indicators, but to attempt to handle the numerous and challenging requests of many here.
I have what I believe to now be a chart that will greatly aid me in my trading using many of the indicators that you have so generously given free of charge, and without complaint. This uses a 15 mninute MTF Trix, with an alert, with a 30 minute Trix on the same chart, your new color candles that readily show what direction the trix is at, the MA color ventana on a chart with a 12 MA that has the Murray Math lines. Sounds cluttered, but it's not. My goal was to make a chart with as few indicators as possible. I haven't gotten to where Edge is, but I'm working on it. The beauty of it is that all one has to do is to see the colors. The brain is wired to colors and can react in a split second to colors. Very simply, red means stop, or short, and blue (or green for some) means go long.

In your post #1333 you had MTF TRIX set at (3,mmmW) M15.

I was on the same trail of using 3eeeC on the M15 . I was going to try different settings this weekend to see what works best.

You are the trader I mentioned about the 2xTF bar of TRIX from THV.

I have been following your experienced trader charts closely. Thanks for the information Indicator too.

One more request.... to save time and effort from my side.

Is it kindly possible to attach the indicator version of TRIX 2xTF Bar you have shown on the chart on this post with exact settings in the inputs..
