+10 EU. 1 primer + 1 detonator = +10 pips.

Primer was pa above 12lwma. Detonator was MA Ventana. Trix detonated last.

Gold Star? yep.. I think so.

When you pull up the indicator parameters you will see a tab that says..."Input"....the first field is time frame....you need to enter the time frame of the chart you want to dispaly, like 15M. Then go to the visualization tab and choose which time fame chart the indicator will be displayed on. on the input tab use 2, 2, 1 on mode _average 1, 2 and 3 and input price is 0.

What image I put on the forum is an expanded version of one chart.
I have several charts open.

One is MTF and another is single TF with single setting.
Are yoiu asking to see my other strategy for early entry?

Today was a bad day, all my fault. had I stuck to my own rules along with the rules of the methodology I would be up +15 for the day, well over my target of +10 per day, at least I got back to only losing my winnings from yesterday. You wont see me post charts because I use MT4 for charting only and orders are taken through another platform. All times are EST US.

Are you waiting for the candle to close above the 12 LWMA on the long trade or do you enter on the break if the detonator has a signal?

Last night I made EA based on SwingMan's indy's (he saw EA) and now is in testing mode, needs to filter some bad signals, I think it will work fine on higher TF. I am fond of manually trading not EA's, this is test project btw. I don't want to flood this thread about question's and EA settings. Edge is my master

+10 G/U 1 Primer + 1 Detonator = +10.

Primer - PA below 12lwma
Detonator - Bar closing lower on sm trix. (had to know how to read the trix bars on this trade.)

(Also.. I am also using auto updating Demark lines to confirm a break of trend for high probability trades and auto updating Shi Channel for trend. I did not picture them for the sake of keeping the system pure, and also because I can't stand you guys who keep cluttering good threads with all kinds of other indy's other than the one the system calls for. If Edge wants me to post these other 2 very common indy's mentioned then I will, until then LET'S KEEP IT PURE!)

Dave... It all depends upon PA!! If its moving fast then I don't wait for candle to close.. If it's sluggish then I might.. that's the best I can tell ya.

It is possible to have 10 pip s/l as long as the signal you take is very solid. I use a 10-13 pt s/l on the pairs and I trade on teh 5 min. Its just a matter of deciphering the best signals as well. Although you might get s/l a bit more then say a 25 point s/l it keeps the risk low. It forces you to take the very best signals. Also I know here in this thread we go for 10 pips profit target but if you havent already I suggest you read the book my mark douglas, Trading in the Zone. When I go in with multiple lots I take first profit with either half or 2/3's of my lots and then let the rest run to capture a bigger move if possible. Its all a matter of taste I just tweaked it to my trading personality to each there own. Kepp up the good work!

Okay, forget it. I was not asking to see your setup. I had a similar setup with a Hull and a Hull Histogram and then when I added the MTF Megatrend (=Hull bars for 4 different timeframes, the TF of the chart and 3 longer Tfs) I decided that I had too much duplication.

So I thought you too might not need the same thing displayed in the same way twice on one chart, since this leaves less space for the price bars.

Ozzi, I was using just the regular one not _MTF

that's why all this misunderstanding. That multi-TF will definitely

help to take much cleaner entry!

Just a quick note here as to a previous posting of yours today. Was going to PM you on it but it is not sensitive in retrospect.

I did not mean to infer that I was trying to single you out in any manner.
Was just taking excerpts of postings a throwing together some general observations.

I am trying not to be bias against anyone or anything here and just trying to keep some objectivity in this tornado of a thread.

Humble apologies for any offense taken as that was never my intent. Your long list of posting contribution to the FF speaks for itself, especially if one actually reads your opinions as written.

Ok so you played the zero line bounce on the Trix like with CCI , well done.

Now tell me why do you have two identical Trix's on your chart?
Since you are using the default values for the SuperUltra Trix ( the lower sub-window), it is identical to that of the oler smtrix in the higher sub-window. So why not save some space and only use one of them?

I agree, but I was using the single TF version with another strategy.

I guess I should have minimised the window in the image I posted.

Here is a picture of a vaild short trade on the GU (sorry subject line should read GU) which has been in an uptrend most of the day. Notice the 5M signals down and then when the 15M agrees we take the trade. We have the initial break of the 12LWMA several candles and a short signal on 5M several candles before the 15M agrees with the down trend. You could take that signal and in this case it would have gotten you 10 pips. I just prefer to wait for the 15M to agree with the trend direction before I enter. The price action pulls back to the 12LWMA and then we see the 15M down signal. Entry at 1.6422 and exit 1.6412. I actually missed this trade but it does show how the Trix indicators work together.

It seems that the thread has calmed down somewhat and we have focus on the plan pretty well established today. VERY NICE ALL!!!!!

You are all getting a pretty good look at the power of that trix thing. Good to see some MTF incorporation of such as it really tell you when a pair is trending. Watch those lobes and bars, trix 'does not lie'!!!!!!! It is what it is.

Today, if you were brave enough to take counter trend trades, you most likely got an asswhoppin. Blunt but sometimes the truth hurts. Do not despair, I got slapped around a couple of time also. Sometimes I think I am superior to the market and it reminds me monetarily that I am not. It is a constant state of mental anguish when I do that.

As such, I take a java break, apply self induced lashes (about 10-15 depending on stupidity level), cry like a baby and then refocus efforts. What else is there to do? Sometimes the market PA just does not cooperate.

Pairs (EU,AU and GU had early uptrend's and a few pips could be made. EY was just a nightmare for a couple of hours and was best left alone. In the last hour PA is improving somewhat. Hang tough, you all know the deal when 'scalping'. Some days are better than others.

Need to read the overnight postings a bit more now so might be unavailable for 30 minutes or so. Back soon.
