In a way there is news for E/J. That is because it is not a Major thus it is really E/U * U/J . Hence since there is US news, this will effect E/J.

I like that setup a lot. Can you tell me how you changed the trix to be for different time frames, and for them to show the time frame on your chart like that? Thanks.

I added one more Trix to my template, and now I see it for M5, M15 and 1H at my chart. I take only the trades where M5 and M15 match. If they match with 1H too then I try to swing trade the position, if not then catch 10 pips only.
I think it is one of best confirmation systems that exist

You have to use the Sm MTF SuperTrix indicator. And if you want to see more than one TF at a time then you have to put it more than one time to your chart with different settings.

Sure, but I have NOTHING in TrixMTF window

Because C4 originally is for M5 trading but the indicators used work well on all TF's...

Today I traded USDCAD H1 charts using a combination of dashboard information of currency pair strength and C4 stragegy. over 100pips and still going

I am happy! one trade.

If I had more time....there are signals for NZDUSd and EURUSD and USDCHF all in synch in 4 TF. All at one glance.

I have given links to these dashboards in an earlier post. To see what I am talking about.... have a read of the manuals there.

Dashboards like these are on TS too. Great tool for traders

So you say price repaints, does it - who is your Broker? If they change historice prices at which a pair has been traded then they are definately one to avoid!!!!

That is not what I meant
I just do not understand how does repainting affect the real time trading... The future moves of the price are not fully predictable even with 1000 of non-repainting indicators. Any indicator shows only this moment to us and it is not important what it showed earlier.
Repainting makes backtesting impossible, that is true. But we are not backtesting, we are trading.

Just edited my previous post with my trade today.

Combination of HULL and TRIX....

This may annoy some member on the thread because it is not exactly C4 only.

I use the latest version of basket trader 5.1 and pay particular attention to Combi trend column.

Swingman is such a genius programmer after seeing and working with him on these dashboards.

My trading has improved so much.

Isn't the Hull(12) redundant, surely its just a duplication of the 4TFMT H1 line?

Anybody can recommend SL /TP

I tried SL=10
TP=8

Last 3 trades USD/JPY / EURUSD / GBPUSD all loses

Whatever system generates SELL for EURO (buy for $USD) pairs it's a loss.

Last trade Alert says Sell GBPUSD red Error occur then it run
my stop loss and error disappears like there was never a SELL signal
(repaint) ?

What SL/TP you recommend for 5 min TF?

I do not think that it is possible to trade any pair with a SL of 10 pips... Edge suggests manual exit, not pre-set SL. I use SL as I always want to take more than 10 pips. And my SL is NEVER under 30 pips, for GU it should be even 50.

And of course you lose if you enter short at a time when there is a very strong uptrend

Not sure what you mean Ian.

I am a visual trader and have more versions of the same indicator than necessary on the chart. I agree.

The histogram version is there because I use another strategy sar with HULL(12) as early entry before I decided to test C4 (not shown).

I find with the histoversion is clearer with smaller candles and I have several charts open ,so I do not have to expand all my charts.

I like seeing the HULL on the PRICE too.

Here is my set up that I am going to use this week. MFT Trix for 15M and 30M charts on my 5M chart with 5M Trix. Take trades when 5M and 15M match up and if 30 M matches all the better. Also, notice when 15M Trix histo is hugging the "0" line and 5M gives signals that price does not move very far (see aqua arrows on 15M Trix). This may be a potential filter for those false signals that you get on 5M chart. Again, this is just a suggestion and you would have to do some research on your own to determine if this filter works for you.
