Here's a little bit to get the discussion going.....

Take this chart here. Yesterday formed another pinbar, today formed a nice Bullish Outside Bar. This is an exercise to show how different people using the same methodology can come up with different ideas.

So tell me, if you were looking at this stock: Would you buy, sell, or do nothing? There really won't be a wrong answer here, I just want to see the different thought processes, and how we can use them to our advantage.

By the way, I know nothing about Leap Wireless, or where they are at....etc. So please, no real direct fundies, this is a technical question only. I already have an opinion, (which very well could be wrong) but let's see what you guys have to say....

well just from eyeballing it, its coming off the 27-28 area which is now acting as support, formerly old resistance, however just above around 30-31 it may have some trouble getting through...

so risk reward might not be there. Noted is the reduction in volume on the recent move down so pressure from the bears seems to have ceased. I'd personally pass its cos the price action isnt that good to me, ie the pin bar isnt large enough with a bigger tail swinging lower then previous bars...

then again I may be dead wrong.

Pin too small, sideways traffic, resistance at $30 and 200MA,( also possibly just broken neck line of H & S pattern). If it gets above $30 comes back to retest then I would be interested.

I'm not a big fan of MA's, but since they're there...when I look to the far left of the chart it, it looks as though that big push up, was after a bigger drop down, judging by the angle of the 50 MA, while the 200 is clearly heading south. I agree with the comment that the two pins are small and to me this only signifies a small push-back. I would be looking for PA around $30-32 to give a short entry.

I would probably be on the bearish side. Not going to sell it right now, but waiting for 30-32 area to form bearish PA, or have my pending order below the pinbar. Based on my experience and back/forward-test, first test of support usually failed and when price is making sort of small boxes like that, it tend to continue the former trend. BUT, I could be wrong and we don't have to be right to make money.

I think I agree with Low and arcus.I would be waiting for price to find resistance around $31 $32 and wait for bearish PA.I would not do anything as of right now,but wait.

Nice post. My observation is that price has been in an uptrend and you have had 2 huge sell offs, but buyers found interest at the $27 level. A break of the bullish bar maybe a scalping opportunity to test the 200 MA or even the 50 (also a chance to fill the small gap there at $29) and see how price reacts. Overall I'd look to see if the $27 area holds as support for buying opportunity at little better price or look at the $24-$27 range for a better deal. Technically speaking.

I would trade a confirmed breakout with low risk and put the stop close behind the broken TL. At the green zones I would keep an eye on. I don't trade stocks yet so I don't have experience with the volume but since the two marked bearish pinbars were accompanied with a high volume I would probably have my breakout trade to be confirmed by a high volume instead of a retrace.

If anything a short in the making. It's broken support at around the 29 - 29.50 level which could now be turning to resistance. The PA is small also, as others have said. Would be watching for now.

I agree with the others that the pin is in traffic so I may pass on this trade, however this little range of consolidation has formed at support, so there's no way I would go short. I would say the PA is more bullish than bearish due to the last candle closing higher than the others.

I wouldn't be suprised if we had reached a fibonacci extension of the initial move down from 42 to 32, possibly a gartley, so another clue to the long side.

If I had to go long, I would wait for a pullback because theres not a lot of room to resistance at 30.
