Yeah. Mostly I just wait for price to get there. Last night was cool because we had so much movement, so price did get there on a lot of pairs.

Sometimes I put moving averages on the charts too, but that is really just for decoration more than anything.

I am glad you like the journal.

Hi FXJake,

any chance you could post reasons as you post trades?
I would love to trade this way, but I can't seem to see why you pick certain S/R levels & not others (any recommended reading?)

Obviously, these were all losers - unfortunately sometimes we get breakouts when expecting these s/r zones to hold.

Will wait for the next setup and will post it. Looks like it will have to be next week. Have a great weekend!

Well, the EUR/AUD would have been up 200 pips had I taken it, it never really gave us a good retracement to jump in at last night.


That is ok, because the GBP/CHF is up over 100 pips. I am going to look to take some profits here and then move the stop to +10 pips, to see how high it can go.

1.7850 looks like a possibility

Obviously, probably a good idea to dump this as the big bearish candle on the 1hr chart is suggesting a move downward from here........

Will sell the USDJPY now and during the European session (hopefully at a higher price).

Stop up around 94.85

First target down at 93.00

After that may look for 91.20 or so
