I'm curious about that too .. if you take your profit (from a long) , then price pulls back to the 12 wma, Trix still positive, is it ok to ride again?

HI Edge,

After confirming from the trix and the ventana, do we buy at the high of the bar or at the close form the bar where you get the entry signal..

For those who are seeing some trades coming close to the +10 level and then dropping to their -20 SL or a clean break of the 12lwa and are worried about leaving pips on the table, adjust your TP. I know in the past Edge has mentioned he was testing TP levels of +5, I have been looking at TP levels of +10 minus the spread, which on average for me is +6 to +8. The few trades I have seen go against me have hit +5 at the least and more often than not hit +6-8. Edge has never mentioned not adjusting your TP levels to your comfort zone, has just asked everyone to try and stick with the methodology he has presented.

For whatever reason, the 5 minute time frame is not good for me. Possibly due to lack of attention. But, using the 15 minute time frame thgis morning has gotten me five 10 pips winners. I love Swing Man's newest Ultra Super Trix that has the alert and arrows. Yes, it will repaint on the current candle, but not a problem. I posted a very long winded post on the repaint issue before, but all it means when the arrow goes on and back off is that price is bouncing around. Anyway, the 15 minute time frame much easier and less stress for me during the sometimes busy morning hours for me.

Thank you I will do that. It makes sense now that you say that it is only on the candle. I am going to show a loser here. Was the primer activated too long before the detonator went off?

It's been developed and is working well so far. Have not decided to start a thread yet. It seems people were having lots of questions of how to enter a trade. I am working on a simple rule on how to enter trades then I might decide to start a thread.

You guys, who trading $USD must also watch DOW J.
Formula is simple DOW going higher=USD dropping and vise versa
DOW is up almost 120 points right now that's why EURO quickly
rise to 1.3970. I wish we can implement DOW Index into Indy

I trade this on on the 1 hour myself and usualy shoot for 25-50pips, which is a very safe number for this time frame just like +5-10 is on the 5m. Had I not missed it this morning +50 was easily attainable on the GU this morning.

You win some and lose some. Edge says based on probability theorem you should come out a winner if you take more trades according to the rules.
Someone correct me if I am wrong

You are correct, every methodology has losers, part of the methodology here is you will win more than you lose, i think at +10/-20 it hovers at about 80%

Not a bad day within the four pairs, just not a great day. Had to actually do some work as the market was a bit cranky. Take some wins, absorb some losses and press on.

Yeah, this initial strategy is a numbers game. Have seen some pretty good chart shots and have not heard anyone say this is total crap yet. That is a plus I suppose.

I think it is important to have all four pairs up and running at the same time. You need options and you need the info at your fingertips. It is apparent EY was going to produce pretty well today as was AU. Could have easily made goal if sticking with them. Does not really matter though, simply take all the signals you can on everything until you find your footing and are able to ascertain better what PA on each pair is doing.

Watch the swing H/L and gage the depth present in the oscillation of the pair. You need a fair amount of action to get +10 trades. Watch that SM Trix also from a historic perspective. It is a tell tale sign of strength in previous moves.

Lots of little quirks to grasp and it is not needed on the first day. Just trade blatant setups and let the chips fall where they may. We will refine the plan a bit later.

I am not so inclined as to get a great entry. It is nice to 'time' entries perfectly but not realistic imho. Take a look at my charts for today. Entries are all over the place. I am a trix junkie, if I think it portrays strength, I am in. Not very scientific or purely mechanical, but then again PA is not that perfect all the time either.
