Wondering if there is a simple solution to why the color ventana is not visible on my chart.
Ive used template from an earlier post.
Ive tried putting in in manually.
The indicator box is there with the right hand scale...but no line.
Ive restarted everything...

I forgot to multiply the TRIX values by the scaling factor .

Looks like you are going to be very busy with this thread. If you already have seven pages before the first trade is Primed and Triggered, then you are going to have one hell of a mess on the very first fire work that goes off on Sunday evening or Monday morning.

Pleeeease don't open a discution about the TRIX. Edge is maybe the only who used for long time this indicator.

Because TG has mentioned that the MT4 TRIX has not the original formulas, without to post their version, I have done this.
The indi has also signal arrows, alert and email sending, and only you can decide which setup you may find useful.

As I mentioed in post #1, NO template is being furnished as I prefer everyone start from ground zero and build a chart they find visually conducive to working with.

Best to take 10 minutes and build your own chart and save it as your template. Pick any colors you like, add the indi's into the chart and you are done and done.

Better yet, build two (2) templates. You should have ONE primer and ONE detonator on each. Mix and match or shake them until stirred.

What I want to avoid is seeing a chart show up tomorrow that has more than one of each. All the indi's work, all are 'live' so this should be easy.

Give it a go.

Nope. Am not going to be a grade school teacher and put unruly children in time outs.

Everyone is (or should be) well beyond that now. This will be a higher education setting. You can come to the scheduled class initially, get the gist of the material, do the work and make the grade. Or, you can sit in your dorm room, watch t.v., play video games, drink yourself into a drunken stupor and continue to be a burden on society and a general waste of human flesh.

Either way, I does not affect me as this is set to be a pretty fast semester. Up to potential traders as to their goals here.

Will watch the charts appear for a day, throw my own up for comparison and see what transpires.

That is indeed a fine indicator 'SM'. It is an excellent addition to a traders toolbag for later.

I think what is best is that these folks initially get some college level work done first and learn to use the base trix as a detonator first. It would be haphazard to try to use the trix as a primer at this point.

Am following along with great interest though the cerebral tug-o-war between Anne and yourself. There is going to be some real opportunity to play with that trix when this short semester of work is done.

Many here will fail the course, some will use it in their existing trading methodology and some will use the base plan as set. Just the way things are in the world.

However, it is the post-graduate work that will tap into the real value of a trading method such as this. It will not be on a MT4 I can guarantee that much. We all learn and evolve or we crash and burn. Sad but true.

Usually, I am a bit more abrasive as it was clearly stated in the opening post not to introduce any indi that you could not proof up with trades accompanying any variation of your indi.

Just in case, I post another version of coloured MA. You can put it to the main chart only, unfortunately.
And do not ask me why the signals do not match 100 % with Ventana, and I also do not know which is more correct...

You saved the web page it was on. Indicators must end in .mq4 or .ex4.
Delete that one, right click on the attachment in the post and choose save as then save to your experts>>indicators folder.
You do not have to copy/paste etc ... you can save direct to indicators folder from the posts on this thread.
It should have the same name as it does on the thread post and end in .mq4

OK", still can't get it. I notice the ventana says 'ex.4' and the others say 'mq4' . I don't know why I cant get it.
