I just counted the weekly EURUSD and USDCAD for the intermediate-term forecast. USDCAD experienced extremely volatile moves in the last 12 months or so, and the chart looks rather odd and so is my count. But that’s what I could get (Some of you may have posted your counts on the weekly charts before, but I missed them).

P.S. On my EURUSD weekly chart, Wave-(4) and Wave-(1) overlap, which does not fit into the rule, but the rest is ok. So I still think the price is moving toward wave-(5) direction, even though it's an overlap wave.

overlapping is one thing and anticipating wave 5 to go that far is another.

Hi everyone who prefers EWT,

I am zero about EWT, but I am just wondering the real effect of EWT in the real forex trade? does anyone earn money stably for example over 1 year only by EWT?

The overlaping would'nt be a problem if all the waves would make a 5th wave of bigger degree and from the first look it seems that your wave-(1) is extended and wave-(3) is 61.8% of wave-(1) so if that is true then i would say that wave-(5) prabably would be 38.2% of wave-(3) long these are just some general ideas, they have to be verified by counting and etc...

Thanks for the comment Saras, That seems to be a practical observation.

I measured the lengths of wave-(1) and wave-(3) and found that the length of wave-(3) is about 80% of the length of wave-(1). So what do you think about the length of wave-(5) in this case?

Also can you recommend a link or a book on this topic? Thanks.

it that case there is no exact ratio of wave-(5) you have to look on internal and external relationships of your wave-(5) subdivisions, i add my daily chart where i think wave-(5) might end
