I need some help playing the videos on the blog. I have Vista, and none of the software wants to play MP4.

Try VLC. I use it on Linux and I have been able to view the videos.

I downloaded quicktime. I am not sure why, but I guess for HD it has to be a .mp4 file....

I have run MT4 on Linux, and in my opinion it is not very good. The windows don't always line up and I think it was the Buy Stop and Sell Stop and Limit orders were out of whack, you couldn't select something a rather, I spent hours trying to fix that to no avail. Other then that it does work, oh and don't forget to copy the wingding font from windows, it looks retarded without it.

I would not waste my time fiddling with it again, so I have since gone back to Windows, goes well with the games anyway.

Hopefully MetaQuotes will look at developing a version for Google's new Operating System (Chrome). I know its a web based OS but if you look at apps like Google maps and Gmail, they show what can be done.

I run MT4 on Ubuntu Linux (with wine) and I do not have any problems with it. I do not place trades with MT4, I only use it for charting. My trades are placed using my Oanada platform. Send me a PM if you would like to discuss this further.

Looks like some few here are using Linux.
My main system is Debian based, with Virtualbox running XP: inside XP, the IB standalone pakage and Ninjatrader.
So no fear of viruses, as I only trade with that Virtual Machine (no internet browsing, no downloads, nothing)
Close to it, I have an Ubuntu laptop with Wine and MT4 for charting: works fine, but must say I don't trade with it.

I'm watching all the Yen pairs after that big break, but the only ones showing "zones" I'm interested in are the audjpy, nzdjpy, and chfjpy.

I am curiously contemplating shorts on the gbpcad, and gbpusd should PA show me an entry. Otherwise.....just waitin' and watchin'

Here's what my chart looks like. We've clearly broken out and retested of the bottom of the channel, but we're now loitering around the 150 weekly PPZ. In fact, I've marked out the area between 150 and 155 as a zone. So, for a short I'd like to see a break out and retest of the 150. And for a long position I would like to see price break and retest the 155, but what do I know?
