the latest announcement from the National Futures Association (NFA) in the US. All members of this organization, which includes all US brokers, must adopt the new compliance rule 2-43 which states that ‘as from August 1, 2009, customers of forex dealer members will no longer be allowed to offer stop loss or limit orders and traders are prohibited from modifying or closing trades from open positions in their accounts as from this date.’

As mentioned it is still a work in progress and is not based on volume. Just to clarify, seems like there is some confusion, I did say that there are some buyers, the overall direction was however still short as you can see from this image...99.7% of data showing short even though a signal was generated for a counter trend trade on 5 min. Also attached is a screenshot of the 4 hour chart. For a work in progress I dont think it is to bad.

I was introduced to the thread you mentioned already and like what I read there, still a way to go but I will be incorporating some of the information in future developments. Thanks

Any reputable broker outside US.. that also allows HEDGING? any one..please

sure but some have minimum deposit amounts, the better ones. PM me about size...

Try Alpari UK , I been trading with them for some years ,so far no big problems .

You can open an account with FXCM in the UK. Smallest is a micro with min desposit of $25.00. Metatrader min deposit is $2K.

ARE these softwares user friendly.. I mean does it have all indicators and every thing,,
Dont want to down load indis..cause most of them crashes PC.

go to fxpro.com cypros brokers use mt4...
i have acc with fxpro so u can try it they are good..minimum dep 500$

You can download Metatrader from most brokers and open a demo account and use it for charting. A large number of traders trade on other platforms but make use of Metatrader with a demo account as a charting package. With the broker I mentioned you can open a micro or standard account and trade on these (both very good and very fast) and use their Metatrader with demo for charting.

Spreads extremely low i.e. eur/jpy 1.2 pips, gbp/usd 1.6 pips....Also they are registered and regulated by FSA in UK and confirm to all US legislation as well. Well capitalised as well.

Edit: they do allow full hedging etc.. on UK accounts only.

Is this talking about hedging or what? Surely not trading in general???

Where did you read this?...What is your platform?...Oanda doesn't have anything like this...

Here I read this,,,

I use VT trader... by CMSFX. No hedging allowed.. Margin is crazy... spread goes up and down...... And now they will not let anyone modify or use stop loss or take profit...

That means you have to quit your job.. and trade only ( CAUSE YOU WILL HAVE TO BE IN FRONT OF THE PC TO CLOSE IT)..... and manually close your Trade.. since no Hedging so .. you have to take the loss..

This is bunch of BS...
