I wonder if anyone is still using the QQE Anyway...you can use the qqe overbought/oversold levels to identify possible turning points in a trend, as in the chart below.

The color qqe below, will identify user-defined overbought / oversold qqe levels. You'll need to instal qqea indicator for the color qqe to work.

Cheers

Hi Iztok,

This isn't really a big deal IMHO, for one you have to use what your broker has, but you can have several running in the same time to put all your indicators and experts on. Metatrader is good, it's very flexible, tons of custom indicators and experts available. I don't see it using a lot of memory either, only 4-20 megs, that's nothing. I don't have a lot of experience with VT, but I'm running that too to see what Aus is talking about Besides I have to run o&a for trading. Still I can play some bf2 in the same time

Hi Pedro !

After all this time, I do check of course also other more known platforms. True is that there are realy many and new are coming. To pick up the best from few I probably need another 3 screen...

As they teach me : use all your tools, all the time (Nugzar Dzodzuashvili).

Thanks anyhow for answer and some tips.

Iztok

Have been back testing it today and find it seems to give an early warning on the more major swings.

I have this sniper forex system which is in the pic. have not used it for a longtime, so thought i would combine the two with bill William awesome oscillator. Have added a RSI 8, not on chart pic.

Sniper has a reputation of identifying the big moves, when i used it, i found the stops to big for myself. I also found the entries not so good.

Short conclusion backtesting only.

Identifies the more major swings. early warning and used with a candle hint/formation appairs tp give a nice early entry.

Bll Williams AO confirms trend change.

Sniper historgram lags, but confirms later. Sniper three MAs will keep you in the trend.

Will be interesting to test on S/R levels, which is where i prefer to trade from.

Hope no one mine me posting another system here. if say and i won,t

I suppose everyone has noticed that Auslanco has amended his original post.?

For anyone interested in weekend data.....
http://quotes.ino.com/chart/?s=FOREX_GBPJPY&v=i

Despite what everyone says about weekend data being unreliable, more often than not, price will reach the weekend data price within the next trading week. (I've been studying this for a few months now). Food for thought.....

closed all my gbpjpy longs. looks a bit like a head and shoulders on daily which might target 150-151 area?

bunch of reports in the uk press over the weekend that dont sound good, plus 8 uk embassy workers in iran being arrested for 'supporting protesters' could all up risk aversion and/or cause pound to tank it tonight/tomorrow.

considering now whether to short it. 200 day MA is at 155.50 so if i short it then first TP will be there.

Good day trader,

GU is about the easiest pair to trade now, it has been ranging in a healthy channel for more than 2weeks now.

No doubt the trend is up but for now sell off resistance and buy off support until there is a break out. maybe NFP will bring about the break out but for now just make money trading with ease. NO ANALYSIS!

im looking at possible long around 157.390 area. volume on previous 5min doji bar is twice as much as the previous 2 smallish down bars, indicating buying interest at this point? add the doji and the current 5min bar being up, seems maybe a good buy from here?

QQE just flipped bullish. Gann HiLo bullish.

No short term divergences to speak of, but I will wait for the break.

I took the long from 157.40, now praying for a nice big breakout to upside without being stopped out at B/E, need it after taking some big losses last week. no doubt ill get stopped at b/e only to watch it fly up to test 159-160.

o how i could do with a couple of hundred pip trades!

edit
gaaaaaaaaaaaaah taken out at BE again! it goes 10 pips past it then flies up to 158, great.

GJ is will soon end it's consolidation from the last fall from 159 to 154. The next leg of GJ bearish rally will commence soon after a quick spike/ stop hunt move towards 158.79. Any upside movement is strictly limited to 161.25. This coming bearish leg would be at least 1000 pips by early August.
