DislikedThe new variable spreads still differ too high at times or my liking- even if its' seldom and more stable than before they can still momentarily go really high- I'm just concerned about this triggering pending orders/stops that I often use.Ignored
DislikedThese are my concerns also. I still end up placing my limit orders allowing for a bit of a buffer to match something like the old spreads just in case. Still yet to be convinced if this is better or worse than having as close to a fixed spread as can be offered in the old system.Ignored
DislikedYes exactly Daneo,
For the record in the last 10 hours I have seen the following max spread spikes on the new feed.
GBPUSD= 9.2
USDCHF= 5.5
USDCAD= 25.5
EURGBP= 7.0
GBPJPY= 13.1
EURCAD= 31.0
EURUSD= 3.5
These were the max they spiked too, for the most part they are quite low- I'd still feel more comfortable trading the old fixed spreads any day given the hard stops I like to use, least you know what to expect.
MBT spreads don't come anywhere near blowing out this much.Ignored
DislikedGood grief, all day long (USA time) the spreads for the EURO and POUND have been horrible with GoMarkets. I've seen the following averages all day today:
EURUSD: 20 pips
GBPUSD: 30 pips
To hell with GoMarkets. I'm staying with ATC!Ignored
Dislikedi have just opened an account with these guys, havent funded it yet though. Still not 100% sure of them? Guess i can only give it a go.
I have never seen 20 pip spreads on the eurusd or gbpusd?Ignored
DislikedHi all,
Have come accross 2 more MT4 brokers in Australia.
1. Halifax Investment Services Limited - uses FXDD as a feed on MT4. They state that we will trade with ASIC rules not NFA if register in australia.
2. FOREX FS - have not spoken with them yet so know nothing about them. Still they support MT4.
Not too sure what forum rules are regarding links to websites so just search and you'll find them. Both .com.au websites.Ignored
