That was anther oops moment. I thought I had added the relevant line of code, but in actuality I hadn't. Again. Hey ho.

DislikedI will get there, eventually. I really enjoy programming, yet am useless at it.
That is perhaps a little unkind to myself; what I find really hard is working out what to code, not how to code it.
Hey ho. What I won't do is let a programming problem beat me once I decide I want to make a function happen.

DislikedHi Steve, and all users of this wonderful tool.
Say I'm up $500 net on all of my trades, and want to lock in $200 across the "basket", what should I do? I can't set the Shirt-Protect to a positive number, so would it be possible to allow that in the code?Ignored
DislikedHi, I think you can set the basket jump option at $300 and set your basket break even to $200 and set add break even to jump option to true to achieve that now..Ignored
DislikedThis EA is just magic. Thankyou very much for the creation and the ability to freely use it.Ignored

DislikedIs it possible to set the break even point at minus (-5) pips say, using this EA. It is not realy break even, however there are situations where the price goes in your trade direction, then drops often to your entry point, and then moves again in your direction. Because of the spread you are taken out of your trade. Would appreciate an answer.Ignored
This is an EA I am writing for my own use and am making available to others who can use it. I am delighted to find it is indeed of use to others; this is brilliant.
Nearly every time I have responded to an individual request for a function, this has led to frustration because my coding has not worked properly. Andytan's tightening stop is the latest example; so far as I am aware, it still doesn't work properly but I don't need it and so cannot be bothered to sort it out.
In future, I shall respond to individual requests only if I can see a use for the requested function myself. Sorry that this sounds selfish, but there is only one of me but there are a lot of people making coding requests. I have to prioritise somehow.
DislikedJust a quick one.... Has anyone had any luck with the hedging section. IE: Can you get it to work? Im not having much luck with it at the moment and was just wondering if it is user error.
Cheers

DislikedIf your criminal (broker) is an American criminal, then hedging will not work. These crooks have banned hedging.
Hedging is now back on my agenda. I have migrated to Alpari UK. Being a non-US criminal, they still allow hedging.
If you want to use hedging, you need to find a non-US criminal. Having said that, I understand that FXDD are ignoring so-called 'NFA rules', so you can always try them.
