It's interesting to note that shares in British Petroleum (bp.) have fallen in line with the price of oil. An interesting triangle that, Cad, BP and oil.

Actually, this is the third time they have stepped in. EUR/CHF 1.50 seems to be the trigger, as they actually came out and said. I have a trade in that at 1.5024 that I woke up to a nice profit with today.

All S/R areas are "man-made", but some are just blatantly obvious.

BP and XOM tend to move nicely with oil. Of course so does CAD. I know a guy who trades these and crude oil for 99% of his trading. (Big fundie guy, studies oil markets only)

I agree - you have to watch the larger time frames first...then move down to 4 hours. However, it's not to say that it can't work, just that it might be running out of steam.

They are more or less worried about Franc strength vs. the Euro.....but this should translate to other currencies as well.

I'm sitting in my house waiting for delivery of my smartphone... Oooh, mobile trading.

I've read up on it and looks great. I work away from home quite a lot and sometimes can't get online for a few days at a time so this will be a real help.

Anyone here have any experience of mobile trading with metatrader?

Hi Hel13rock,

Not via a mobilephone, I have metatrader running on the home PC, and also my laptop, Im a truck driver, I have the laptop running while Im trucking using mobile broadband, the home PC is also running as backup. I also use PCanywhere to set up TS on the home PC just incase I loose the mobile connection. It works quite well. Good luck with the new mobile.

Thanks, I thought about mobile broadband but for the extra cost on top of my mobile I had anyway I thought it was probably best just to go with a smartphone.

I do , HTC Tmobile wing and waiting for the new HTC pro2 on 7/22 , I trade at home and montior my trades while i am work , FYI You can't add any custom indcators , I hope that you bought one with a touch screen and a styles.

It didn't retrace it , The price made a new high , What caused this crazy spike?

I got the Samsung Blackjack great little phone for trading the charts are a bit small but once you get used to it just like trading off the monitor. The only drawback Ive noticed is that if I keep my charts up on the phone I get 5 hours or less of battery life. I got it so I could trade at work but due to the battery life I have to be careful. Ive heard of MT4 having some communication problems on the touch screen phones but havent seen them physically. Also I hope you didnt get a blackberry as they are not compatible with MT4

Yep once you turn the meta trader on your battery will not last more than 2 hours , I turn the meta trade on and off every 15 or 20 mins , also you may miss calls while your meta trader on , your calls may go to the voice mail right away , so turn the meta trader off sometimes . . I did not have any problems with the touch screen been trading mobile from 5 month now , Alpari Us and IBFX.

Tazzam and kodflakes,

I got an xda zest on o2, touch screen and stylus, I've heard a lot of good things about it for trading. I don't use custom indicators anyway.

I've also heard about the battery life but I can keep it charged no problem.

I have an HTC, I like it a lot. The only issue I have is TWS (Interactive Brokers) doesn't have charts on the mobile version. The MT$ works great though.
