It can't really work, for example you can margin call for auto-SL but can you margin call for auto-TP?

I have been using a good mechanical system that win 85% since the past 3 years. I only loss when I trade against it!

If u try this ur method on my PROVEN system, all you will achieve is to crash your account

he did say to do the opposite of something that's not working. In your case..it's irrelevant

You're trading USD/ZAR with that system aren't you? Or some other exotic pair?

I respect your thoughts, but sure market won't treat you very nicely. Grail is not in a system or method but it is a way of thinking ........... think like a winner with proper money managment and success is guaranteed.

Every trader is a liquidity provider....are you not?? doing opposite of a loosing strategy will lead nowhere....why do people think they are doing something new and out of the box in centuries old market.

Anyway any new idea should be creticised this way but actually is it possible to follow " DO THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT WOULD HAVE WORKED IN THE PAST"? Not that do opposit what have not worked .If so should work .We can work out with all loosing trades and they must lost due one or more reasons at that time & try correct those reasons of taking trades next time or better try avoid taking any such kinds in future .

The reasons can be as such :
1. taking trade news time so better avoid all news trading or taking any .
2.Over trading at random , buy -sell as scalping then better not to over trade ,keep them very limited open ( 2-3) at any given time and follow the trend to take only oneway ,no opposite at any time .
3.Inappropriate sl , if the trade is ok with the direction of the trend of tf ( the beigger the better ) working then place it as high as possible carrying out this trade with money management & if not possible , do not take .If all ok place very big & BE whenever time come , 200 pips sl can't be positive for only 10pips ?
4.Inappropriate tp, place tp much less than appropriate to conconfirm green ,never greed .
5.Overconfidence . never to indulge anytime in forex.So less the confidence the better, every trade should be viewed as suspicious & so less tades be taken & if one done utmost care /fear will work nad end in early close whenever positive .
6. Bigger lot and so never use any bigger lot , use only the lowest possible .
7.In appropriate timing , this is also very important , never to take any trade whatever reason when very busy,anxious for other real reasons , sleepy or anything bothering .Take your time you feel comfort & full attention.
8.Over-analysis ,do less the better but only simple ways applied to know the current trend of any given tf, the more you analyse the more you frustrate as actually it is very complex things to do & actually nobody know what will happen in the near future .
9.Overwork and so the opposit ,less or limited work /sit before computer.It should benefit the back,neck stiffness , eye strain & brain disfunctioning .
Do trade & go away to see after an hr or so whatever happened.
10.Over-anxiety and do opposit,no any anxiety . Do & almost forget .

Just from my experience & faults and still to correct them & may be this thread inspiring me to do from now .

I will invite the thread starter to explain more about his strategy.
