Of course my chart is not the right count, because the not labeled candles between your candle 2 and 3 did not close higher then candle 2

My indicator is not working right, your chart is an eye oppener.

Over the years I learned that with TD you shall get even less excited counting future profits (as "count in progress") - even after completion of TDSetup it might recycle or be camouflaged - so everyone would do others a huge favor by not posting something like "today is a day 6", "today is a day 7" stc and finally "Holy Crap - where did it go???"
Not even speaking of relation to corresponding TDSTs for completed setups.

GUYS - read DeMark and have complete picture in your heads, not just dangerous fragments - it will cost you loss of money if you will not...

BTW - GU (whatever count that was at the moment) - is G.O.N.E.
just curious - seeing your picture is not enough to be able to identify your own posts? What is that - short memory loss?

Not!!

The TD Sequential indicator I have is one I bought directly from Tom DeMark's company many years ago when there were still available for purchase. They must now be leased from CQG or Bloomberg.

Whatever version you have, cracked by some Russian teen and sold on EBay or a free MTuser copy is wrong if it shows the Setup and countdown gone.

To cancel a sell setup a price flip - C < C[4] - is needed. April 27th was the last time we had one of those days.

Countdown continues and is now at day#10 unless of course we get a price flip at some point.

Suggestion that next time you question, rather than proclaim.

If you think my post was being 'not nice' I can be really 'not nice' but maybe some other time.

I don't know what the time of day has to do with whether or not there was a price flip and where the current count is? With TD Seq on a daily chart it is the daily close that matters, as I am sure you know.

The last time price flipped was a month ago. If you have one on your chart recently then question your data provider or broker.

Here is my latest chart and note that my TD Sequential indicator plots a box around the setup and however much of the countdown phase that is contained once a price flip happens. Note a Sell setup in March (that is boxed) that recycled and current setup that isn't boxed, because there hasn't been a price flip.

I don't know what to tell you further if you still believe count is gone.

Oh and those red dots = C < C[4].

good point that it is "close that matters" - I tend to rush sometimes. (and I did change setting from "on bar close" to false for current bar). So, as of right now (thou day has not ended yet) flip might has occurred, but, and I agree with you - has not been confirmed by EOD yet.
Also, even more agree with "data provider" - no matter how good of implementation of any indicator one has, it is only as accurate as data feed allows. (so that might be an issue - my broker had plenty of data issues lately)
Also, DeMark suggests that not only 9/13 might be used, but permits to "experiment" as market conditions change. (I use 8/14 a lot).
One more thing I think might affect differences in your counts and mine - DeMark might (?) change some prereqs sometimes (at least that is what I understood from glancing at Pearl latest book)

Here is another "situation" in development - EUR/USD "surprise" for the market next week (Tuesday most likely)
Anything within the range of 1.4147 to 1.4273 looks like a sweet short for long term trade

Just narrowed it down to data issue,

that happened 2nd time and both times with currencies pairs
I am not surprised I don't pay attention to that - I don't trade currencies, only futures, option and stocks

Note again that although my indicator is programmed in EasyLanguage and works in TradeStation I did not get it from them. I got it from Tom Demark's related company (ISS) directly.

As to EURUSD TD Seq countdown it is at bar#5 and a new setup has just started and is only at bar# 1 because the close on 5/28 is less than close on 5/22 cancelling previous setup that your chart shows.

There are all kinds of fib retracements/projections creating a strong resistance area and also a TD ST level but it won't mean anything if there is no reaction. So as always price action will dictate whether there is a trend continuation, retracement or complete reversal. Some minor pullback at a minimum is expected though.

thank you for the chart of EU, no disagreement here, but...
Here is an eternal question which keeps bugging me with futures and currencies (especially futures thou):
a) Would it be legit to include Monday May 25th Memorial Day session when USA markets were closed (therefore any USD moves are totally disconnected from "reality" for currency trading) into analysis?
b) is it appropriate to include futures shortened Sunday session (which in my understanding is just an extension of regular Monday sessions) into counts?

I found that when trading/analyzing /ES much batter results are obtained by looking at SPX (and looking at FXE chart we would see no flip in this case)

Regarding forex charts: I believe everyday counts, even if Tokyo is closed I still look at UJ/GJ/EJ etc, or if Germany/France are closed (like this Monday) I still look at EU/EJ/EG etc or if we are closed I still look at all the US pairs. Same with the respective futures.

I agree SPX is cleaner than ES although I definitely watch what globex is doing.

Um, it's not actually your board, is it? So unless the mods tell me
otherwise, I'll post a countdown or a perfection set-up if I see fit.

Not when I'm quickly scrolling through the posts. The red text is far easier to spot. (Of course, if everyone starts getting fancy, that could
be a problem....)

Anyhow, this drop in the USD is rendering all my calculations
worthless. But then, as the article says, currency pairs stay in ranges
roughly 70% of the time, so even when I get a Perfected Countdown
(selling Cable or the AUD) the trend just plows right through it.

I'm back.

The latest: my favorite pairs are entering a new range.

GBP/USD's resistance level is about 1.6600 - .6620, and its most clearly-
defined low recently was 1.5801 on June 8th.

AUD/USD seems to be peaking in the .8230-.8260 range, and its
resistance levels are about .7830 - .7860.

Also, the Loonie (USD/CAD) consolidated its resistance levels at the
1.0780 mark for three days straight and is currently testing 1.1370.

This will make it easier to start our set-ups and countdowns again.

The consensus of the bloggers on seekingalpha.com is that there are rough
days ahead for the USD in spite of the fact that tough talk about a new
reserve currency from the BRIC coalition (Brazil, Russia, India, China)
seems to have evaporated for now.

S&P 500 cash index TD Sell 9 bar into a 127.2% fib external retracement and TD Trend Factor level plus Microsoft disappointing earnings after the bell today say it is highly likely a much overdue retracement is in order on Friday or early next week.

I am looking to purchase a new computer and was wondering how much processing power it takes to run TD SEQUENTIAL programs that have been created on this thread? I'm looking to run it on several different currency pairs and some equity indexes at the same time.

Also, is there any platforms that have Demark built into them?

I can't speak to the versions available on this thread but I don't believe the version I have as well as others are very processor intensive.

But it is always advisable to buy the most power your budget can afford.


If you go to TomDeMark dot com you can see the data providers who have his indicators, but realize they probably charge between $300-$600 monthly.

I have been experimenting with the TD trendline systems, and find that the MT4 indicators draw level 1 trendlines, not very reliable. Could you please share with us the indicator you are using?
