the most tricky part for me is spoting the trending momentum. Indices show the past and they cannot really predict price movement. Several times I got into the trade on full body candle just to see the price immediately strike back or stall for hours...

I see you often place trades before the price shoots so guess there is more than just chart analysis.

What I surely learned: if I know the price will probably go up, it will; if I wish the price goes up, it won't.

can anyone tell me how to change the MACD colours for the main part for when it is going up to a different colour when it is going down. mine only gives me the option of choosing one colour

I just wanted to thank you for this journal. I have learned a lot due to it. Although I have read through it from start to finish, I now plan on going back and looking at each of the trades again to see if I can see why you initiated each now that I have learned more about Forex trading. I have a long way to go and your journal is a valuable resource to me and others who wish to spend the time studying it. Thanks again and post when you can.

I don't plan to trade as much over the summer, taking vacations, doing other things, etc.

As to the questions posted on this link, I prefer to only address questions directly related to the strategy I trade. You'll find answers to most questions in my chart submissions over the last year.

Good am GW,I have a question about withdrawls from a large account.I remember you posted that you use fxcm with no problems,and my question is with such large profits do you take a % out or just keep a certain amount in your acct and trade with that seeing that the amounts you trade are different ie:2,3,5 million.If the question is to personal please disregard.Just thinking about it this weekend and remembering "REFCO FIASCO" and the state of the world economy to leave such large amonts in an acct,cheers.PS:I hope you had a great vacation !!!
