DislikedThanks for the EA. I just started running it on the hourly. Will post results laterIgnored
QuoteDislikedThe system can be used on any currency pair, and is suited for the Daily timeframe (D1), although it can also be used on H4.
Disliked80% of my trades are profit.
Ver 1.5 is better for sure.

DislikedAs I understand the version 1.5 from the first post is now ready for trading or trading attempts ? So far no optimization of the settings described in the .pdf is possible or neccessary for me ? Could I try it for live trading ?Ignored

DislikedHi Steve,
Thanks for sharing this EA. I have been testing on and appreciate if you can look into the two problems I find on v1.5 (see statement):
1. Sometime I don't know why, it opens up a trade and immediately closes it.Ignored
QuoteDisliked2. The target profit needs to take spread into consideration. I have set tp 10 and the EA generates different tp.
DislikedYour results look great! Could you tell me what timeframe and currency pairs are you using the EA for, please?Ignored
If people make suggestions, I will try to code them.
The s/r thingy I am already about to take care of. The others I shall take care of in future, if the robot appears to have a profitable future. More experienced traders might like to step in with suggestions that I might not think of; these suggestions could benefit all of us.
DislikedThanks for posting this, Gary. I see you are using a jumping stop, something I wasn't doing, so I will give it a try. Cheers
I have been working on another project with a contact in a private forum. As part of that, I have sorted out how to include consideration of support and resistance, so I shall code this into our robot sometime soon.

DislikedThe 64ma seems to be helpful. I have not detmined if it is really working right though. How I would like for it to work is if we are below the 64ma we only get in to short trades and if above we only find the long trades. Is that how you understand it works?Ignored
Ok, this should read, "When set to true, this tells the robot to disallow trades when the market is the wrong side of a 64 SMA."
Even so, the meaning should be pretty obvious.
Which bit of "wrong side of a 64 SMA" is causing you difficulty?
Your post shows clearly that you haven't read the robot instructions I took such a long time to produce. Why should I bother to produce instructions in future if people cannot be bothered to read them?
I will tell you what I really think, Gary. The 64ma is a waste of time. It is neither here nor there whether the market is one side of it or the other. For sure, I do not use it; I only included it because you asked for it.
Now, a cross of a shorter over a longer time frame ma might actually be useful in determining the market direction.
Any intelligent suggestions, anyone?
