Hmmm... I did notice the "volume like" similarity, although I wasn't using it that way. Yes, the EA took the order when the level stop flipped. But I trade with the average daily range in mind though, so I don't usually get pips that go beyond the daily range.

Because we are in an uptrend, I've set it to take long orders only. Ignore all shorts. , well, for now at least.

i believe the reason for gjs smaller than average range today is because eurusd and gbpusd have risen so much and put the dollar under so much pressure than its even dropped against the yen despite yen weakness. dollar dropping against the yen is going to help yen strength slightly and take the edge off any gbpjpy moves.

if we were to see the dollar gain a bit of strength and usdjpy start to move up then gbpusd could fly. but for the dollar weakness weighing on usdjpy and lendin the yen strength, i thin we would have already broken 151

Although Dr.G criticized Obaidah for the futility in attempting to program a VSA indicator, this to me is the absolute best Volume indicator freely available for metatrader

Obi should get a medal for his efforts. Now that does not mean its always correct, but in terms of alerts, this is the most thorough program to date. All it needs perhaps is a bit of optimizing for the co-efficients.

better than bettervolume then i assume? ive loaded bettervolume for the past week and actually havent found it of any use what so ever because the bar colours are mostly meaningless. i get 'high climax' bars at the start of an up move etc. infact id probably be better off without bettervolume at all, from what i have seen it hasnt correctly identified a single thing yet on either 5min or 15min!!

You might be right but I just don't like the daily candle right now at the end of the daily timeframe. Whatever it is, I will try to short this pair. Again I'm not suggesting anyone to follow me, it definitely not a call.

bro the i have been using better volume for a week now too and nothing bad about it..just forget about the color and read the incress and dicress for the up and down bar. u just need to understand the end of a down trend or up trend the color is nonsence.

it is VERY likely that the pair goes to 149.10 before going up.. that is IF it goes up.

Well, I think your bias is right. I have nothing to argue with that. I just think that the price might breach 148.20 and land at about 147.25, I just cannot keep my finger to short.. ahhahaa. I might be wrong if there is no retracement.

Anyway, I have closed all my longs and currently only have 1 pos which is short @ 149.50 only. Let's see how this plays out.

The orange volume histograms below the blue line represent low volumes, above the orange line represent high volume, red histograms represent very high volume and violateblue represent ultra high volume.

You will also get alerts indicating possible hidden buying / selling etc.

So far, the past few months the PA stayed within the weekly TL.

On the lower TF, the GJ looks exhausted to continue rally to the 4/09 high 151.57...

I believe PA will be in consolidation phase again and probably test the lows toward the weekly TL next week.

If the PA recovers and breaks the 4/09 high (151.57) , than the TWO playout below:


If the PA breaks the 151.57,than the 156.00 38.2% zone is my first target..

If the PA continues to stay in the weekly TL,than the 167.00 50.0% zone is my second target.

My overall conclusion after the 50.0% retracement, a big fall in the fall '09 -winter'09 to an all time low for the year..

IMHO
