Maybe I missed this in the instructions but are you going to recommend which EA to use with which pairs as you've done in the past? I'd vote to start a new thread to cut down on confusion.

well ive actually adopted it to my current manual trading. For those with chart reading ability this system adds a whole other dimension to your manual trading, ive had quite a nice run this week...

things that i say can put the probabilities even more in your favour:

- look for Support and resitance zones to support the stochs, macd and BB
- look for price action/candlestick patterns
- trade only with the overall trend

now these are just the rules im implementing... ive also adopted different re-entries depending on the speed a currency moves...

- one with a SL of 300, one re-entry after 200pips at 1.5x
- for quicker ones, 500SL, one re-entry after 300pips, 1.3x

now this is what ive done so far, its still early days... but id reccomend going to the 'Hall of Fame" thread and combine this with a manual system of your choice, personally id reccomend James16, Silent Service Method or Jacko's thread.

with the re-entries, overbought and oversold indicators, price action, S+R, trend lines, it makes this very powerful to your trading...

Also ive found that on the daily TF the signal can be even stronger, howwever ive adopted at keeping the 3ma cross for entries on 4HR and 2ma cross for daily's... (you can change at the bottom of the code once you get the EA)


PS: I wouldnt scrap this current system of 60x90 (or wateva mods uve made), I'm running it as a nice steady cash flow in the background with a DD SL of 10% risk, which seems high but has never had a SL hit on my settings... as you can play every currency with the red white and blue system your now allowed to be more selective with which currencies you use for the '60x90'.

is the low and close not a typo? is it realy 0.3805? i looked at ibfx and there is not so an ultra huge spike. was it a real account or a demo? if real then chat with the support. maybe it was a server hick-up.

What multiplication have you used? More than 3?
I am trying out something similar 20x30 on EURSUSD.. works well so far

The reason I ask is that if you look at the picture I have set both to deliberately get all orders closed as a test. At least that is what I thought. But all trades remain open.

Any ideas please?

im with GO Markets aswell, they are quite prone to 'spikes'.... ring them Monday morning if they havent already re-imbursed you... i had a 300pip spike on gbpusd tonight, ive been re-imbursed without calling this time....

one time it happened in the middle of the night and they didnt pick up on it, it was for audcad, i had to bring it to their attention... luckily its my secondary account

I've tried it without the multi, a modified multi, and with the multi.....

Best Results - with the 3L multi

Again, watch out for the news though or any strong trending days.

While it does lose a lot less than the regular 60x90 it is still susceptible to strong trending days.

Perhaps it acts as a trailing stop? Not sure as I haven't used that function either.

I know Dan (QZ) uses an account protection script which would be fine if you had the ea only on one pair for one account.

Usually have to call and do some serious bitchin' with most brokers.

Thanks for the suggestion silverngold but TS appears elsewhere so I don't think you're correct.

So I guess Bob will have to answer this one. Does the AEP and AMP function work please Bob?

Dan's account protection script wouldn't work for me from your description unfortunately either silverngold.

It was the 180x200 with a couple of adaptations that lead to the finalization of this system. Right now I am thinking yes because this manual is a trend following system and this thread is a counter trend system. Anyways let me know.

PS. You guys are going to love this. It is not a Holy Grail but it is about as solid of a trading system that I have ever seen. Good luck. White Goodman and toothman if you guys have any notes so far in using this please post your thoughts and results.

The EA will be a variation of the 180x200 basically a sell only and a buy only EA. The only programming I have left is getting the song to play with the warning system. Instead of a ding, one of the options will be a warning system that will play a song of your song so you dont miss a buy or sell signal. Once that is done I will package the system and post it sometime Sunday.

no particular news worth noting so should be a solid week. Bernanke is speaking Friday afternoon at 2 PM EST but I am usually out of the markets by then so I wont worry about that one. Good trading.

You can use either the 60x90 or 180x200. I will be using the 180 by 200. You wont need to change the TF of the EA but you do want to make sure it enters in the correct direction. You drag the EA onto the chart when you are ready to trade according to the rules of the system. As long as price is below the MA it will buy and above the MA it will sell. The Red, White and Blue lines give the signal and the EA will manage the trade for you. You can go to the new site and read more there.

Thank you for your effort. May I know where is the new "site" and the new EA mention in the manual?
Infact I am using your EA 4H 50AM 180x200 from 1 May 09 and I don't decide the direction as suggested. I turn it on 24x 5 and I turn it off unless it hit the level 3. Now I have about 50% profit but with about 15% floating loss.
If we follow your new system, it will be a trending system and it is different from what you suggest at the beginning. Please advise.

Bob,

Interesting read, your method's helped me with something else I'm working on. Attached shows my own indicator, Trix TC which is double stochastic trix, on same chart in your note. Seems clearer than stoch and indicator attached if anyone interested.

I'd previously written EAs for the indicator using the overbought/oversold levels but using MACD as a filter looks interesting ie. only trade in the direction of the last crossing of MACD near 0.85/0.15.
