Dear Karol,
As we mentioned before we do not require margin and we do not calculate swaps for each separate logical position but only for your net position. That is the reason why in Delta Trading we have separated the logical orders and positions from the regular ones. For example, if you have a long position for 10 000 EUR/USD and a short position for 20 000 EUR/USD you will have a net position of 10 000 EUR/USD short. Under definite circumstances, for example if you buy 10 000 EUR/USD with normal order, buy another 10 000 with logical order and then sell 20 000 EUR/USD with logical order you will not have a net position but you will have 10 000 EUR/USD short logical position. Because of that fact, the regular orders and the orders placed through the L2 module have a higher priority than the logical orders and they can close every position. In case you try to close an ordinary position via a logical order, you will get a warning on your screen and your order probably will not be filled. We advise you to first carefully read the Delta Trading manual to get acquainted with logical orders and not to mix them with regular ones and thus avoid a situation in which a stop or limit order placed with a logical order is not executed. Another important fact is that the orders placed through the WEB, WAP or PDA version of the platform has the status of regular orders and they will close any logical ones. Each trader may have a different trading strategy which allows mixing both types of orders and we do not want to restrict the trading opportunities but on the contrary – we try to expand them.
Also, in case you have many logical positions, you can close them all at once via one normal order, without having to place separate orders for each position which can result in loss of time and probably money.
You are also able to close only a part of your logical position via the ‘close through new order’ option. You only need to change the number of lots in the order. The result will be a different average price. Due to the fact that the position has not been entirely closed and the result has not been revaluated, you are able to see your actual profit or loss.
