Hey guys....I am looking for a script that will bring the stop loss up every candle to the LOW of the previous candle in an uptrend(reverse for down trend). So lets say day1 you get in a trade....well on day 2 you move the stoploss to the low of day1....then on day 3 you will move it to the low of day 2.....


where can i get this....i have literally the perfect system with this...i just don't like being at my computer im more than happy to share how to trade it as well if anyone is curious

Hi there,

Are you using a manual system? If you are using an EA you can probably get that coded into the EA as opposed to using a script. I am not able to offer any help with coding but surely someone who can will be happy to assist you.

hey....yes it is a manual system...there is no way to code the way i trade fibs. I just need a script i think? or an EA what ever it is called....something that will automaticly set the new stoploss at the start of the next bar...with option of making it .618 of the previous bar....or .5 ect...that would be ideal

Ah, another Fib trader, like myself. There are a few here who also use fibs quite successfully.

Anyway, if you do want to try and automate it, then just go ahead and post a detailed explanation of your approach and include one/more charts if possible. Then, one of the talented programmers might offer to help with it.

If not, a script should be forthcoming. You can place it on the chart and walk away since you appear to trade higher TFs.

I do not think it is possible to automate my method...however....part of the method is tedious with the stoploss and that is the problem this will solve....90% win rate sounds good being nearly effortless....

I have been looking everywhere and can not find this very useful tool!!!!
i am bummed that this has not been done it is a profitable strat that will be great if you don't have to sit with the trades....you could sleep peacefully

if you still need this script let me know. I will need to do a little research, I've not done anything with trades in any of my scripts yet, but I'm pretty sure I can do it.
20 pips a day isn't too much to ask . . .
im sure someone can get an ea to do this for you with no problem. i know there are ea's out there that can manage a position even if entered manually. so moving a stop to the low of previous candle shouldn't be that hard. ask zen leow- i get him to code all of my bright ideas
