I dont even know what to say as of now i can see a bullish engulf in weekly chart, i am on the other side now until a clear break of 151 then i can load long from there but if we dont i still consider bear ..
take a look at my monthly chart we need a new high to rise and weekly bullish enguld..let see how a...
yeh we had a bull engulfing the previous week, but look at week just gone, the volume was higher but the bar itself was less than half the size. as far as i have read this would not be a good sign?

Well Malcolmb,

Look at the fundamentals since Jan. '09 and things was a lot worst than and the GJ was around 118 lows...Now DJ is recovering ..I see more correlation each month between GJ and DJ..

Anyway, I will continue focus with my swing POV for a rally ..

Who are the ppl calling for short on overall bullish trend..? Sure there will be PB but the overall direction is up up up....

Hi friend..thanks for asking. It's been a rough week..I've been trying shorts in the euro/jap... i still can't get the qqe file but downloaded ausl chart with adx which i think is meta's version of qqe?? I can't get the gann either as a separate indicator..also what is rsx? Only have rxi.

it should be expert/indicators and in ur platform click on custom indicators through the navigator window...you open the desired chart u want 2 add indi and double click on qqe..hope u get it..if not just ask..Hw is it goin Sis

Panic every where bro. the week we just ended was covered with big big news so i am not surprise why this guys have turn everything upside down..remember what every happen there is always a direction what matter is patience and follow the trend...new weekly candle should give us real picture of market direction...rsx heading down on weekly as mal said and MA in bigger tf pointing up ....i told a friend that possible we can see 151 again for a double top and if we dont break it we go deep down..GJ level now is not clear so let wait and see.

m week was ranged on 10pip's.continues hitting of my 10pips lock in on my long term short's...perhaps the qqe u have is not in mq4 format or ex4 file..there lot's of other great stuff dre..will try and get you a mq4 qqe...welcome to mt4 platform trading,it's the best

If the news was so great how comes the GJ only ended at 150 ?

There is a lot of resistance at 1.5380 GU. daily symmetry Gj is 1500 up 1000 down. GJ should not move any higher than 153 before move down to 143, The completion of the GU cycle to 1.5380 may take gj to 153 . Then down from there

I am not swing trading , but see weakening on both daily and weekly chart
which would support daily symmetry , one last upthrust and then selling

I am day trading , those that talk about swing trades of 1000 pips as huge , this can be obtained every week when day trading . GJ 100 down and 100 up us session and GU 200 ..almost seems to easy at time

I just hope the volatility keeps going. I look for only 200 pips per week. That is my goal and this volatility that we are seeing I can get that within 1st two trading days, every thing above that is gravy

True true about the news...i was wondering why Gu move and GJ did not move above thursday high 150 ....next see how next weekly candle open ..we should follow the trend i am day trader also...but when i have a good price i can hold my position for long term. whats new mate? i am just sitting here readong tradeguider book i download yesterday, i should finish it by tomorrow before the market open..Thanks for your support here..

talkin of news..the so over presuured and much awaited bank stress report,which was obviously manipulated,what move did we get???..the news only catches blind newbies this day's..who want's to be a hynna in this one...better to ask for forgiveness than permission

You are right about GU cycle possibly topping out at the 1.5380 area and GJ following the PA..However, the overall trend is still bullish until the daily TL breaks..

For me 1000 pips is alot when you are trading with a big position..

Scalping is only making brokers richer when you buy many positions..

If I add up my time on this forum and analyzing my charts per week , I think I am doing very well.. I prefer swing trade over day trading..I have a life outside of forex..

IMHO, if the DJ continues the rally all this month, than I will hopefully have my 50% fib level on the daily as my next target..

Mal, since you have sharp scalping skills, what if you were able to get on average 200 pips per pair a week..I think you will reach your goal quicker..

I used to trade all the major pairs and a few exotic cross.. It worked for me in the past but it is a lot of work to keep track of all the pairs..

Hi Malcolm,

Quick observation - I was checking my daily charts and looking at the trends (and divergences) on RSX. I noticed that over the past two years the RSX has only been this high/overbought two other times: 1 - at the time we dropped from 141 to 118 and 2 - at the time we dropped from 240 - 230 and subsequently to 221.

Knowing that patterns repeat over and over in charting, do you think this could be a valid pattern (so to speak) as well?

Any comments or insight?
