HI Ash: I don't know what I am doing wrong. I downloaded the EA and I did it twice and I can find it in the Experts. There is only one ASK FX and it has only several inputs in there, nothing like before or and nothing to program. Any Thoughts
I have never been able to download and open zips.

I just downloaded it to check and it is fine. Try deleting it, restarting your computer and re-downloading.

Yep. I am using it live on my IBFX account; IBFX have also become one of those 5 digit plonkers.

Enter inputs in 'old money' and all will be well.

Unless those 5 digit dimwits find a different way to be asshole pains in the backside. Which they will, I do not doubt.

It is the old version with the new higher tf filters, so if you want to use the news filter then you need FFCal.

I do not know what it is about your ea but it crashes my metetrader every time I load it. I had to remove it from the directory to get my metatrade to stay open.

You added more indicators in the code but did not remove the ones you did not put in the code. It is confusing.

Does the NEWs indicator really work? How does it know when there is news coming?

is the MACD and Parabolic indicator working on the next higher time frame or is it in the same time frame?

Something is crashing my system.

What is the FFcal. I installed it as a indicator and did not see anything.

Today was not a good day.

I would really like to see this ea with ONLY the options that are coded, and add only parabolic indicator for one day time frame. Then have it only open positions in the 4 hr time frame in the direction the 1 day parabolic indicates.

Good Morning: I think I found the EA

I thought it was going to have a turn on or off of Psar and or Macd, just confused me.

Could I ask why the Macd. It is a very slow and laggin indicator. All are to some extent. The AO is good for trend and goes with the method.

Why not Psar and or AC? AC is more in line with method and in the longer term, or any, it is the closest you get to real price. It shows you the first part of the move at the start of the turn over. Then the AO takes over for the continuation of the move, which is over when it flipe and or begins to change color.

If we trade getting in on the four hour or 1 hour the Psar and Ac in the daily would be right in line to match.

The Psar nd AC and or AO is and more to the method for filtering.

Hi Steve: I was wondering, could you add a PSar and Slope Direction line programmable onto the OZFX Long and or short. Is that possible? I like hard coded pairs like they have.

I have found the best entry is simple and use the Psar and Slope Direction Line v2. That is just me I realize.

I love your idea of the fibo stuff in your indicator.

Old fool that I am.

Thanks for all your efforts with this EA. Have been trying to forward test for quite some time with good results, although the bot did not trade for the last 2 days since the last version upgrade.
You state above V2, however, in your zip file I find V1. Is there in fact a V2 or are we still using V1 as the latest version? Would you please clear this confusion up for me as I want to run with the latest!!!

Hi Ash: I was reading the Ash II blog again.

I was looking at the Dash Board.

What if you coded the Ea to have D 4h and 1h to go with the signals on the Dashboard to match to enter a trade with the Pairs to match as you choose. All four inidcators on the day for the 4h or all in 4h to match for the 1h.

I have traded the 4h and 1h match with the Oz for exits.

One of the beauties of the OZFx is that the fifth order can float with no profit taking until stopped out by the TP or BE.

That way you get your first four targets and 1 goes with the market.

I see the confusion. The bot trades Ash's V2 strategy. The bot itself if V1.

Mine hasn't traded either, but that is because I have the MACD higher filter turned on. This forces the bot to trade in the direction of the next higher tf trend and will cut trades dramatically.

What I am hoping is that the trades that are sent are much more accurate; we shall see.

The MACD and PSAR htf filters do not quite work properly; a bit of mis-coding means they miss the most distant of the candles out of the calculation. I will post a fix for this soon.

1 trader viewing now
