Really impressive results for two cents a trade Bob. I opened a new demo Sunday with your 180/200 at ten cents per trade. Also attached the mini 2protect ea. All trades have closed on the first step and all have been closed by the 2protect ea. Profit +104.

Hi NewEra,

The red square means a down trend for that currency pair and particular tf and a green square means means up trend.

The gray squares are the pairs and tfs that you want to use for the 60x90 as it is counter-trend.

Basically a ranging market is ideal for this ea.

However, seeing the pairs that are trending it would be ideal to use a trending ea or manual trade for those pairs and tfs.

Only use it for 5m to Daily - nothing beyond as it will not be able to work properly.

I tried using the protect ea and it worked great at closing the trades, however it caused account loss due to the trade being $140 in the negative on the open on nzd due to spread.

This caused a combative situation between the 60x90 and the protect.

Because I never saw a trade open in the trade box (as it happened too fast for the trades to register) I was down 3k in 5 minutes.

I only happened to notice the account balance was off, so then I removed the protect.

Could you pm and discuss optimum parameters?

Pm'd you Vincent, for others there are 2 2protect ea's. One is for the mini and one for the standard accounts. If you put a mini 2protect ea on a standard account it will just keep opening and closing trades in loss. The way to start this is to apply when you turn Bob's ea's on or when your in profit of more than 10 dollars. If your 10 up (mini) it will protect 5 and as your profits go up it will protect more. This has been working for me on all of Bob's ea's and basically keeps me out of those death trades that kill the accounts....Dan

Hi Nanningbob!!,,,,I have had great success with your system this week,,,Thanks so much!!!,,Just a quick question,,,Other than the gpb/nzd,,,Do you shy away from any other pairs?,,,I know it depends on the traders risk aversion,,,etc,,,Or would reccommend using all 22 pairs and just stick with them through out the trading week? Good ,,bad,,,or ugly??,,I know news events and global uncertainties can have an impact,,,,Have you tried using,,,for example,,, lets say just 10 pairs with any success,,,My strategy so far has been to take solid profits when available and let the losers turn to profits,,,I will clear the the deck Friday before closing ,,,,,And then count my chickens!!.....Thanks again!!

The most dangerous pairs are:
Gbp/nzd, gbp/jpy, Eur/nzd, gbp/cad, eur/aud, Eur/jpy, gbp/chf

The biggies though are gbp/jpy, gbp/nzd, gbp/cad, eur/nzd and eur/aud. You can see that putting a major currency with a minor currency can lead to some huge moves.

Attached is my 7 year currency facts. It shows the number of times a currency has gone over a certain number and what its biggest day has been. I last updated it last November after the big Oct. moves. So even though the info is 6 months old it still gives you the information you need on this question. There are some currencies not on there because they were not offered by IBFX when I started compiling the info.

The best way to trade them is to let them go out to their extremes and then turn on the EA and ride them back to the center. Monday was a great day for that.

Here is the gbp/nzd. Whenever it gets 2 or 3 lines out from center, turn the EA on and ride the profits on in. Very profitable. Especially when you see the white and blue lines past the 15/85 lines on my sto/macd indicator. That is a good time to turn it on. You will love it.

Ok,,Great!!,,Thanks for the insight,,,I have been letting ea go the go 24/7 on all pairs,,,And then taking profits when they occur,, Maybe,,, I should be a little more careful when trading the more volatile pairs,,, although they are tempting when they go your way!! ,,I have to get use to going negative until the countertrend emerges,,,Thanks again,,,Its been a very good week!!

Hi Nanningbob,,,Is it possible to set the EA on the most volatile pairs,,ie.,nzd and jpy crosses,etc,, to take the first trade only when they hit second,,or third level on up or down,,,Bypassing the first level altogether?,,,,Or,, do we just make that a manual decision,,,Thanks again!!,,,,,

I trade the gbp/jpy and eur/nzd 24/5 but I close down for the big news interest rate stories. Yes it has been a good week. I got my email from IBFX, the check is cut and on the way.

Its been 2 hrs i dont see any open trade. Can someone check please and let me know if you seen any trouble. If u find a trouble, can u please notify me thru [email protected] or call me at 8017358977. I will appreciate alot.
I like to test this for 2 weeks on demo before i go live at ibfx with 500. Also will appreciate any suggestion, or feedbk to get the maximum output

Did you attached the EA to the charts? Once you have done that, you will see a smiling face on the right of the chart.
