4H 5EMA System

Here is one I did two nights ago. Great divergence. Also false Breakout during the time Sterling recommended. I ignored the first reversal signal. I do that after good divergence unless I'm ahead by 20+

The UK has not changed times yet so that is not the time that I am trading right now. I said 2-3:30 AM but did not mention that the UK....or the rest of the eurozone has not changed times yet. I believe they do that on the 29th of this month. Someone correct me if im wrong please. Once they change times then I will go back to 2-3:30 AM EST but until then I trade from 3-4:30AM EST....sorry I didnt clarify. Also as most of you know I dont like indicators at all and thats just my opinion so please just take it for that. I do like MA's....I guess you could call that a indicator but not really IMO. I think im gonna start working on the thread right now cuz im bored. It will be a work in progress and I will clarify that when I post it tonight. I hope you guys enjoy it And more importantly improve on it if possable which im sure it is By the way I have stopped trading the 4H system all together. I think it has way to high of drawdowns lately and I just dont like that. With the new system I manage 100 pips a week on average and have WAY lower drawdowns, usually no more than 60 pips at the very most. Having this low of drawdowns allows for higher leverage and that is what makes the new system so profitable. Anyway im rambling im gonna get to work. I will have the rough draft up tonight and will start posting charts and finish it up this weekend. If you understand me and eric's 4H system my new 5M system will be a breeze for ya. Enjoy!

I've just visited this thread again after months..
When i last left, the hot news is about the EA.
Have the EA been born yet after this time?

And why can't I see the result for this year in front page?

No the whole EA thing kinda just fizzled out and never came to completion. Someone somewhere might have one but I dont have a EA for this. As far as the performance....well I havent been trading this system so I havent really keept up on the page either. Im now trading the system titled "stersuhr's 5M system". I think everything that has to be said about this system as far as learning it has already been said, so im gonna lock it. If your new to the system read the thread and im sure your question will be answered.

This system sounds very interesting and I am studying it for quite a while.
I also have a EA in place which is following the rules (as far as I understand them) . I would be happy to share the EA after I sorted out some open questions.

Anyway I don't get the explaination of the example 4.8 in the word document.
Bar 1 is a setup bar for a long trade (OK)
Bar 2 hits the buy stop and it stoploss in the same Bar (OK)

BUT doesn't the rule state that we have to place a SHORT order the moment a stoploss is reached or a sellstop a the same level?

IF so than we would be in a short trade on bar 3 which would be again stopped out with the high of bar 3 which would then follow the stated long trade?

WHERE is my mistack?

Ok guys there is going to be some sort of lock on the thread....not a complete lock but a 10 voucher lock or something like that I really dont understand completly what the mod said. If you guys want the thread completely open just PM me and if I get a response that most want it to stay open I will leave it as such. I am trading Oanda and do not see such an option.

Hi shiko,Not sure if you can set high and low emas on oandas platform
try down loading mt4 off abroker such as alpari or go trader,use that chart
for charting and use oanda for trading.good luck!

Hey guys im back. Ive been working on a lot of new things and in the coming months hope to start contibuting to the FF community as actively as I had been in the past. I still run the skype room and it is free and will continue to be free forever. I call live trades here. I basically take all the trades in there I do in my own account. I recommend 2% risk per trade and based on that we took 30% in June, 8% in July, and were up 10% so far this month.

Thats all just a side point. I have been develping some new systems that I would like to share with you all and also continue to work on and refine my 5M system and this 4H system as well. Glad to be back, special thanks to the mods!

Hey guys yeah im here. Any discussion on this is welcome. I currently do not trade this method full time anymore. I co-run the forexdiamonds.com room which is the flagship signal service for forexpeacearmy.com Given that I just dont have the time to trade this. I havent looked at the profitability as of late but the principal of price action system will never die. This system is rooted in solid principals that will always work in any market. As with any mechanical system they do experience higher DD's, that is just there nature. Due to this tradin this system with other analysis would be benificial.

The reason I taught mechanical system was to help those new to trading. You have to wade through so much BS that its hard to actually find something good a complete neb can follow. With a mechanical system like this and my other 5M system the faults of EVERY new forex trader are taken care of. With mechanical systems you dont have to worry about emotions, it teaches dicipline, and also teaches patience. Those 3 things are the killer to any new trader, especially emotions.

Given the fact that there are flaws to mechanical systems I have made a new thread called "the opens" that is also in the commercial forum. Here you will find my trade calls I make live in the Diamonds room. I try to not only show my trades but more importantly teach how I do it. I went through so much to become profitable that if I can save just one person the heartache I had all the effort I put into these threads is worth it. Not only do I have the thread but I also have a skype trading room. Here you will be able to follow all my trades from 2-4AM EST LIVE every trading day. Currently we are on a 7 day winning streak.

This market is a long term business and if you are serious about becoming profitable and not rich overnight then I think it would be of benifit to anyone. Hope to see everyone there and in the new thread. Good luck to you all!
