Yep I agree its oversold - At 100 it will be even more oversold but that doesn't mean it won't get there.

When I'm trading I try to keep an open mind and this keeps me out of a lot of trouble.

Just because you believe its oversold doesn't guarantee it'll go up.

For instance - say things got so bad in the UK that the govt defaulted on its loans and the IMF bailed us out and the US came out of recession at the same time and started buying Jap goods again. Where do you thing Geppy would stop tanking 100? 50?.

Thanks for your feedback..I will lockin some pips and I will have a sell order set in place if the LTL breaks on the weekly chart.

Either way the PA goes, I will close my trade and go the opposite way..You are right about the fundamentals..I posted in the past about the bogus profits that banks are reporting..

If I may add to where the gj will stop tanking: the 1st is 92, second is 55, and u know will it stop tanking at 55? Because there won't be gbp/jpy anymore

yes..baby i agree...the question i am asking myself is..after dat sustained downmove...were's the best place to reload on another major sell-off?..

I'm a swing trader..and i don't think that this upswing (correction) of down swing is completely finished...i cud be majorly wrong ..

but i'll take a small wager that we hit 170 first before we break lows @ 118? ofcourse just for fun...baby

BTW It wouldn't be the first time we were bailed out by the IMF.

The last time we had a bunch of Labour muppets in govt they had to be bailed out too.

Okay - Ladies and gents it looks like the 1st part of this weekly plan is working out so far - Lets see what happens over the next couple of sessions.

Back 2nite -

Below is the full post from Saturday 04/04/2009

Sell @ 149.50/150 (may go up slightly more 150.15/151.50 - major resistance up here) for a ride down to 0.618 Fib of the last 5th wave move. . . Entire trade will be liquidated at 137.50/138/139

Flip the trade to buy at 137.50/138 or low, From there I expect ranging from 138-148 area for at least 5 days or so. . . Therefore, I will hold to 148 and sell 3/4 position at that price. Then wait for another drop to add to original position at 139/138 with SL at 136.50/137. . .

Hold that position until 165. . . sell entire position at 165 and flip trade to short for a ride down to 142/140.40. . . buy it back in that range for a ride to 181.. . . SL with be set at 139. . .

This should start the spring/summer rally which should start ar'd 04/12th leading up to 04/19th

Hold on to this post and lets see how it plays out every step of the way over the next 25-30 days. . .

I will keep it handy so if/when it plays out we can check off each play as it occurs. . .

All my analysis is based on the daily/weekly/monthly chart. . .

Anyway lets see what next week has in store for us. . . Just can't see it just keep continuing to go up if the uptrend is to continue. . .

lol, im already having some fun from a side, but this is serious.. OK:

the oscilator is in OS only when is exiting from level 20 on stoch. not when entering, as can remain there for days, weeks..
have a look my pink oscilator, that is my OS/OB and the green are retracements..

with our last drop on 11 aug 2008 my OS indicator gave me first time SELL signal, and entered under 20 level on 10 oct 2008 and remain there for next 5 MONTHS, when we get that correction of the 118 level..

when we crossed 50 ema on weekly, then the OS level finished, and generated the BUY signal...

I've been posting my weekly chart here maybe last Month, and warninng you on posible drop on GY, with also possible testing our current LOWs..

Now, aslo I said: 145.50 is the SOUTH gate, when we take that , we are going to activate our 4h, daily stoch, and finaly weekly...

Again, have a look my Pink OB oscilator giving me a SELL signal..

I'm not so good on fundamentals but what i know now is
1. Japan is in more of a recession than the uk..they have been in one for over 10 years
2. nothing moves in a straight line..dats why its great to swing..baby

I dunno what the future holds..i can only really speculate based on what i see....on the weeklys...

so many things can affect price of a currency....i'm no expert
