It is not so hard to live with the new rule:

- if there is a trend, go with it or play the reversal;
- if you see no trend, pick any side or stay out.

I think I can even forget that anything has changed, lol. Good trading to all.

hello,

many times i feel i have to reread this thread and i am only on page 146. than i decide to read the whole thing and then after that reread... i am spending much time demo dancing so the reading is going to take a long time..

my question: is there much essential info after page 146 or is it more talk on personal issues and progress. these are also very interesting but if this is the case i start again on page 1.

please recommend a page wich you consider "end" of FTI training...

like you i can only trade short sessions. and i understand you trade inside 5min candles. if you are this quick why don't you trade 1min.tf. i am realy interested in your choice.

i tried to dance the the 5min.tf inside the candles, the trends and ranges catch my eye and make me trade in a way i don't have time for.

i am back at 1m.candles because i can try catch trends, wich often are just 5 legs up and attack after range or retracements. 15 min and 5 min are my higher timeframes. i do often rescue in 5 min when i have the time, when i have no time i rescue more agressive.

i hope are still doing as well as around page 146.

ill have to guess depending on the size of their books they can choose to cut loss if the skew gets too heavy on the other side, after all being a brooker the most important skill is to be able to balance out ur books first, the main bulk of eir paycheck comes from the commisions.

Now it all becomes different when they (brokers) decide to take a bias, it becomes a market risk, so any orders that goes against their bias will be taken in as a bet that they will clean up this bunch. nevertheless they are in a better position to move around their risk compared to us. Lets just say that they have more mobility

As in this strategy we basically do average down in the NFA rule is this is now prohibited am i reading it right...


GRO this is one big blotter....i guess chart helps better... i will look into it...

it has nothing to do with out method. infact its complimentary.

NFA rules prevent u from taking a long and a short position in a single currency pair. We dont do that. We just manage sizing

i do read the thread slowly and carefully. and keep reading AOW and book of five rings.

FTI said (before page 100) that "all is here" if you read Slowly and carefully.
this is why i doubt about re reading or finish the entire thread.

i am a guy... i don't know if i understand you question, i try to answer anyway.

i have patience to watch te 5 min chart but often i have only 1 hour (20 candles) to trade. the waves in this timeframe look more clear to me but take to long to trade.
the waves in 1m.TF are less clear to me...since lusan said he trades inside the candle i was curious. does he look at the last candle as if it was a tick-chart??
i do practice to look at PA this way but i do not know yet what TF is good for me.

i just keep studying the thread and the charts... i believe it will become clear one day.

I dont think there is any problem in going to smaller tf , since u have only an hour,
when we trade 5m , and need to rescue we zoom out to 30m or 1hr to see for a possible rescue strat ,
if u have only 1hr to trade , I think u can trade 5s chart (scalp maybe) and then upon rescue zoom out to 1m/5m and look for opportunity...
I guess its tough but possible...

Reading to page 146 should be sufficient. It may also be worth reading all of fti's posts after that as there are some other hidden jewels there.

So what is the problem? Based on what you said, you only have an hour a day and I would consider that an issue. Also, do you want to trade like Lusan or fti? fti's method does not really have any time restrictions and as far as I understand Lusan has since removed his.

Just my experience.

The time window left for trading this method is quite important; insufficient time left can be stressful and make me commit stupid mistalk. In first 2 months of trading this method, there are instances that I failed to rescue. Not because I was incapable of, but I lack "clock space".

fti can babysite the postion round the clock, I cannot; and I believe many cannot too. So, my solution to problem is:

1. I step down the time frame, to M1/M5/H1 chart. D1 chart was consulted only for general chart terain.

2. I don't do many layers of attacks. I only attack when I can see that I have time left and the opportunity is good.

3. If my time left for trading is limited when the oppportunity is spotted, scalp if I can, otherwise I may just past it on if I am not confident that I can come out in time. There is always tomorrow.

Just my 2 cents.

i will certainly look for the hidden jewels in the rest of the thread but no slow reading of 6700 posts.
i look forward to reading FTI's lessons again.
