I don't know why I can't post the chart but do a Fib from 135.70 last low)to 151.52 and u will see it .

Pound seems to be very OS right now ... I'm starting to buy beginning with small positions ... (not a call .. it's just me .. so just trade your own).

1st one at 1.4560 (-Fib 138.2 and %100 fib retrace) buy limit triggered targeting 1.4700, 1.4770 and max 1.4830 (daily pivot) as short term targets.

A bit conspiracy theorist, but this sharp move down had me thinking:

www.forex-markets.com had their GY price at 140.88 early on during the weekend.
Tenfore's price changed mid Saturday afternoon from 146.60 to 140.8x and stayed there for the rest of the weekend.
xe.com did not change all weekend. (146.53).

Now, here's what's been running thorugh my mind today:
A massive amount of traders took note of the weekend data and placed large numbers of shorts for the open. (I know I did).
A number of large blocks of orders were placed over the weekend by the big banks and these orders have steadily been brought to market through the morning.
The data feed showing 140.xx may have been a 'mistake' in that we shouldn't have been allowed to see it. OR

The data feed showing 140.xx was simply a mistake or server error.

Just some thoughts, I'm not saying I know anything. It just interests me.

We're sitting at the 50% fibo from the last upmove now. and there should be some support at 143.40.... Below that, next stop 142 ish..

we was talking about this tank since last 2 week..I did alert you that 151.3X is the top already as she could not move more that as we should notice Q1 announcement from a lot of company and last week Bank..UBS, HSBC and Citi (even BXX declare)....Piter, sycho, Mal did some of the great finding too..not mistake for me..its really predictable..as what she it show last wednesday...

I think its because usd index has broken resistance and the stocks are bouncing down from resistance..that rally in the past few weeks could not be sustained.
its all technical corrections
and of course fundies continue to affirm that the crisis is far from over

With buying low asks, moved the average down to 1.8250s or so. The RR is pretty good here, with reversal point is very close, below 1.8120s.

Yes, I know that some people were posting their short analysis, but that doesn't make it concrete or particularly obvious. People have been wrong before you know.

Another possible scenario that people were looking at last week were bank results coming out better than expected perhaps pushing GY up to 155. This to me looked every bit as possible as a move down, (until Thursday anyway).

Like I said, I'm not saying one thing or another, just that this sudden move down is very interesting considering the weekend data and lack of any bad news so far today.

Yeah.....me too.....I long since 1.8020 just hit my TP 1.8360.....waiting retracement at lower timeframe before add in some more long position on this pair......

What is important here is to see USDJPY slide below 98 and lower.

In the meantime, 1.85 will be target. As USDJPY slides lower, 1.90 will bring the short term decline to an end.

Personally, if we look at medium trend, i believe we will see sideways to slightly bullish action for the rest of spring and summer. As fall 2009 kicks in, i expect the financial markets to deteriorate further. I do not expect a recovery this year, nor next year.

1.75-1.80 is probably a major low for EURAUD for the next couple of months, to maybe a year or two.

This scenario will unwind as the markets give into the next wave of turmoil. beginning FALL 2009
