as of now , the g/j is going down to the daily gan and 4hr ema, braks it and....oh boy, but untill it is inbullish mode

I will make my mind up once she break any of the channel walls

Edit: No, actually I will only go long if she break the upper wall, for now I am looking for short entry.

Seems a good spot for long entry, close to 50%fib and bottom of 3rd bollinger band, unless it breaks the day low should go north unless the GBP decides today is the day to be weak

what do you mean by 3rd bollinger band?

Personally i don't find much use fo BB especially as PA can stay beyond the 2nd Std Deviation for extended periods of time. That and the fact that with the relative differences in volatility during the Asian and Euro/US sessions it makes the intraday charts look annoyingly 'bubbly'.

I continue to accumulate short positions, the last one around 149.25.

Last two days provided very nice opportunities to enter more shorts. 150 will hold

USDJPY and EURJPY pressure will also keep GBPJPY capped, and a reversal in GBP individual strength might also help to push the pair lower in next couple of days

Not the best idea considering GY has declined 200 pips in no time at all. Yes, we're at the 50 fibo from the last upmove but it's not unbreakable.

Just by looking at the charts, there are no long signals right now, only speculative punts IMO.

Also worth noting that UY made a lower high during Asia whereas GY made a higher high. Something has to give and UY looks bearish to me at the moment.

Meant the bottom band but looking at the daily charts it's quite possible to see a retest of yesterdays low as there sits the middle band. The daily channel that I have has a huge channel from 140 bottom and 152 top so one could argue that at some time it's going to make an attempt for the bottom trend line

I'll join you on that one. I have longs still in play, but my bias is bearish now. Need to break 146 obviously, but if it does, Piters south gate beckons.

i wouldn't be surprised if gj would bounce from here - 4hr gann, 50ema
to get back to dp. not calling for long, but this level could seriously hold.

Tend to agree and looking for 146 to go long even if it goes to 145. might then add to position
rather wait for a closer bottom then to short here and be wrong

kinda same conditions as for gj. for going down it needs to brake the current level. imho offcorse
