What a week.

AJ from last week, probably jumped in to early. Entered on 4hr OB.Maybe should have waited for daily close, but was looking very good , thats why early entry.

ACad, just one of those trades that didnt play out. Although I lost 29 pips, at one point it was up over 20 pips.

EChf. Made 50 pips on this pair last week, then looking at the charts this week, I decided I exited to early,( as I do on a few trades. GCad this week a good example, went a 100 pips past my exit, although happy with +70 and +84) and re-entered on a weekly pin in a bad location.

At one point the GJ and ACAD trades were between them up over 140 pips.
In general my entries are OK. Exits need work. Proper use of second trade, taking profits, coming to BE etc etc.

Been stuck at around the $700 mark now for five weeks. Plateaued out.

Maybe over trading. Apart from the six trades entered this week, I also cancelled three trades.Taking away the double up trades, that still leaves five trades. Stop looking for trades, they should be obvious. Be careful with early entries. Work on exits. SMASH thru this $700 plateau.

ACAD entered long at .8853 stop .8720 tp1 .8895 tp2 .8990 Two day pin off treble bottom, with trend.

NJ entered long at 58.77 stop 56.90 tp1 59.50
Pending NJ long open 58.30 stop 56.90 tp2 60.70 Daily pin bar. Price has broken thru and retested 56.50 ppz and round number. 56.50 area may prove to be the flip area for a trend change.

EG pending order which I cancelled, a few hours ago has taken off.
ECAD, jeez what a brain fade.Didnt even wait for a 1 or 4 hr confirmation bar when price got close to ppz, just jumped straight in, and all this off a three day old dodgy looking pin. Concentrate boy , concentrate. In my defence,while I was studying my charts, after work, our son informed my wife and I that his girlfriend was pregnant.I know, I know important family announcement,should have left the charts alone. Shows you how addicted I am. Any way lost some pips, but another grandchild on the way, feeling very happy. One of our daughters and her husband have already given us two grand children.

Greaat news fantastic ...yeah better leave the charts alone once you crack open the champagne hehe...

Really getting my arse kicked at the moment. I screwed up again. ACAD and NJ which just cost me 321 pips, were at one point, up 85 pips between them.

How many times have I said, have I written down, TAKE PROFIT when it is presented, then the rest to break even. DON'T let winners turn into losers.

My discipline is sadly lacking. My greed has got the better of me.

I will get both these problems under control , starting right now.

I am quite sure that if I had 4 or 5 or 6 or 7 dollars at 80 pips I would have closed the trades, but because there was only 10 or 20 cents per pip I let it go.

Must get back to the way I was thinking the first 5 weeks of this journal, when I was taking all the pips on offer.
