Let's get a few things straight.

The current administration does not want the economy to turn around until they are ready. Bad news = more power = more money = more radical leftist programs = more taxes.

GS blew out the estimates. Should be up day for DOW tomorrow.
Shares of General Motors (NYSE:GM) are trading 16% to the downside Monday after the New York Times reported that the U.S. Treasury has asked the automaker to prepare the groundwork for a bankruptcy filing by June 1. People familiar with GM's situation said the company is in serious preparations for a possible bankruptcy. GM is currently operating under $13.4 billion worth of emergency government loans and is struggling to come up with a plan to deal with bondholders and the United Auto Workers Union.
