Hi Lowen,

I was using Dealbook to calculate these trends, but the RSI obviously wasn't below 50 for the short side. There were a couple of decent trades going short, however, I am going to stick to the rules of making sure the RSI is above 50 for longs and below 50 for shorts to no longer confuse anyone.

Ok, vllt interessierts ja noch jmd anders auf dt.:

eigentlich ganz einfach (das schwierige nachher ist, zu erkennen, wann man eine 1-2-3-Formation nach Retracement als einstiegswürdig betrachtet, und wann man's lieber sein lassen sollte => Erfahrung und weiterführende Kenntnisse):

1) Es wird nur in Daily Trendrichtung getraded. Die wird im D1 abgelesen. Und zwar mithilfe des RSI 13, und noch dem EMA8 (open) und EMA5 (close) im chart.
Für Long:
WENN bei abgeschlossener Daily candle des Vortages der EMA5 den EMA8 nach oben gekreuzt hat (Datenfenster für genaue Werte!), und der RSI13 über 50 ist, gilt für den heutigen Tag Long.
SHORT genau andersherum.
Wenn es keine Übereinstimung gibt wird nciht getraded für das Paar.

In der REgel schaut harold meist gtm00 nach der neu abgeschlossenen daily candle und fängt dann an zu traden

2) Gekauft/Verkauft wird in M5 timeframe. Traden ist unter folgenden Bedingungen erlaubt:

- RSI über 50,5(buy) /unter 49,5(sell)
- im ersten Post verfügbarer Stoch-Indicator (Stoch DiNapoli, 8,3,3) ist gekreuzt und nicht im overbought(buy) /oversold(sell)
- EMAs sind gekreuzt (wie bei D1)

Das wichtigste kommt jetzt:
Wir traden MIT dem Daily Trend, d.h. wir warten, bis ein Retrace/Rally gegen den TRend erfolgte und dann eine 1-2-3-Formation eintritt (Retrace sollte mind. 30pips sein, besser mehr, richtet sich aber in erster Linie nach der Gesamtpreisbewegung (also Chart gut anschauen).
Der Retrace sollte nicht nur so'n kleckerpups sein, sondern schon deutlich erkennbar. von der idee her: der preis soll sich erschöpft haben gegen den TRend, bevor wir wieder einsteigen.
Wenn 1-2-3 Dir unbekannt ist, bitte Threadbildchen anschauen oder woanders erkundigen.

Gekauft/Verkauft wird, wenn Punkt2 des 123 um 1 pip überschritten wird (in Richtung des Trends). Aber nur, wenn die Distanz zw. Pkt2 und Pkt3+1pip+1pip+spread nicht größer 24pips ist.
Bitte Bilder im thread als Zuhilfenahme verwenden...

TP ist genau diese Zahl dann, SL ist genauso, also 1pip oberhalb von pkt3.
Bei SL/TP für LONG und SHORT auf Unterschied BID/ASK achten für Metatrader. Es muss nachher RR-Ratio von 1:1 ergeben.

Man sollte schon drauf achten, wo Widerstand/Unterstützung sitzen, und gegebenefalls nicht traden bzw früh auf BreakEven setzen. Ich habe immer PivotPoints im Chart. Man kann das beliebig ausweiten (Trendlines/Fibs,..), aber das gehört nicht mehr zur Methode.
News beachten. Direkt zu Newszeiten wird nciht getraded. Z.B. FFCalculator als Indi benutzen für News.

Achja getraded werden von harold nur EURUSD, GBPUSD und EURJPY

So etwas durcheinander aber ich hoffe das erklärts grob

Kleier Tipp: Ich habe immer pro Paar 3 charts auf - eins mit D1 als "Trendindikator" und grobe Übersicht, eins H1 oder M30 für ne kleinere Übersicht, mit daily Pivots, und dann die 5M mit mehr details..

Still here i have added to ny arsenal2 more setups which i call a 2 b and 4 b the 2 b is where a 123 is setting up and the 3 point takes out point 1 by a few pips and forms a reversal bar like a spinning top pin bar etc the entry is the high of that candle and the stop is the low talk about buying low and selling high the 4 b is a 3 or 4 candle setup at end of trend at lows or highs it is a true 123 by every sense of the word this is strictly price action no indicator needed the entry can happen on bar 4 but must happen by bar 5 or cancel here are 2 charts showing the setups

On both of these type trades you need not look at daily or indicators strictly price action at the end of the trend buy low sell high ON THE 4 B TRADE MUST TAKE OUT POINT 2 BY 5 TH BAR OR CANCEL TRADE

Harold, nice to see you posting. On the 2b setup, your chart shows a short trade. In your explanation you say the entry is the high of that candle and the stop is the low. On a short trade should not the entry be the low of that candle(2b) and the stop is the high.
