if markets keep moving up we may well see 150 plus. Seems the players are intent on pushing up indexes . I think gj will follow next week

today nikkei filling gap , once gap filled may head up 146.80 is max gj should dip this sesson

I mean is there any software? or website you often visit for live changes.

all in all, this preliminary earnings announcement was quite vague focusing more on describing how WFC is helping the public than its actual financial situation.

Of particular note is this announcement makes no notice of very essential entries such as operating expenses and net income.

What also catches the eye is that they certainly aren't taking into account further credit writedowns and are using very little provision cover.

Q1 they took a net charge off of 3.3 billion (according to the statement) compared to the Q4 of 2.8 billion + 3.3 billion from Wachovia. What the statement doesn't include is that Q4 Wachovia took a credit writedown of 50.9 billion and WFC 900 million. Q1 there was NO writedown mentioned.

In addition Q4 Wachovia built a credit reserve provision of 4.2 billion and WFC an additional 5.6 billion for a combined 9.8 billion. Q1 they built 1.3 billion.

WFC is also showing 16% revenue growth from its legacy assets............ Legacy debt assets, the very apt euphemism given to Toxic assets as they will leave a legacy of debt to your children and grandchildren.
