A candle close beyond a certain s/r line (on higher time frames like H4 and D1) means the support or resistance level is broken.

On lower time frames you may need more than just one candle to confirm the break.

Easy but needs some experience.

Well, same as arezab, need to close under/above support/resistance. Sometimes, you need others tools to assure this.

Hi,

I see that many of you are observing this Gann HiLo indicator, but I just observed that this indicator repaints the chart. That is: at the end of previous H4 bar it was indicating up move and at the beginning of the current bar it was indicating up move too, but in between, when the price felled, Gann HiLo was repainted and now it is not indicating any up move.
So does it have any value in real trading for you ? ( If Yes, please let know why) .

Gann HI Lo are two 10 SMAs of High and Low. If Close is above the Low 10SMA, the indicator shows the LowSMA. IF close is less than the High SMA, the indicator shows the Hi SMA.

Place the two SMAs onto a chart and you will see how the qann plots jump from the higher to the lower sma and vice versa.

In your "now" graphic, the Bid was below the gannHiLO.
in the lower graphic the Bid is above the gannHiLo. In any case, you have to wait till the 4H bar completes before you can establish a trend reversal.

I understand what you want to tell me. But according to my observations it repaints itself not only for the current bar (what You write about), but also for the previous one ( what should not happened).

lol, bro.. if that's works for you OK...

noone can make you believe that GANN HiLo doesnt REPAINT, as GANN HILO only flips the side from 10sma Hi to 10sma LOW, depends of the position of the PA [price action]. To be sure that Gann flipped OVER, and not only CROSSED, you need to wait on second bar as a confirmation.. You can beleive US as we are using that indicator for about 3Y, or if you dont, you can go and start reading this THREAD from PAGE #1 to learn something more about GannHILO and QQE indicators..

This present 4H bar will close with 2-3 minutes & perhaps close above 4Hgann .
