Looking for a Compound Interest Spreadsheet

Greetings, does anyone have a simple compound interest spreadsheet? I'm looking for one where I can put in my starting balance and daily interest rate and it will calculate the account totals. Does anyone have one that they could post here?

This is what I use. Excel file just type in your account size and percentage.

This is great, thank you. Does anyone know if there is a way to extend out the profit time? In other words, this chart only goes to 71 days and I'm looking for 2 years or more.

I don't know a quick & easy way to do it the way it is. As it is it calls on box D2 for the percentage information. If you have a known % you want to project it is a lot easier. In box C10 you can change the formula not to include box D2 ie. if you wanted 1% change the formula to =(C9/100)+C9 or 2% would be =(C9/50)+C9. If you can do that all you need do is copy and paste. Just open Tools - Options and click on Page Breaks, Gridlines and Row & Column headers so you can see the spreadsheet. Then copy box B2 and then highlight from B3 down as far as you like then hit paste. Do the same for Box C2 and then clear contents from the other unneeded boxes. If you need to keep the box D2 to change the percentage you can still copy & paste but in column C you will need to open each box that was pasted and change the formula back to D2 as it will automaticly increase in each box from D2 to D3 - D4 - D5 etc. I don't know how to avoid this. Maybe someone else can show us both an easier way.

i have it set-up so you can change the principal, risk, & pips made. the time frame on the side can simply be however you need it to be; i.e., representing 1 trade, 1 day, 1 week ... you get the picture.

i had to convert from quatro (to satisfy the microsoft masses) so if there is any problems let me know.

This is nice, thank you! Are you able to make one where the only inputs we give are starting balance and percentage earned per day? And then have the timeframe for the calculations extend out for several years?

Here,I have this. It is for 1 year,If you want more years just select the table,click on a far down-right end, and extend it as fas as you want. The Income means the amount you want to take out of the account(hypoteticaly). Amaizing thing right, the magic of compounding .

what you can do is remove the pips column entirely.

to extend it for several years, just copy the formula as far down as you need to.

OK we're definitely getting there. Now can anyone get rid of the Euro symbol (or whatever that "e" is) and change it to $?

12 years later and it's still helping others. I modified yours to accommodate when the projected target profit is not met. Figured I'd put it here in case someone would benefit more from my version. (Don't mind the figures, they're from a blown account)

My modifications only apply to the first 100 cells of each column. If you want it to go further just drag the '+' at the bottom-right of Cell 100 to your satisfaction.
