DislikedI have updated first post with Volume Histogram by Forex Flash. Another excellent volume indicator.
Some people may prefer it over other MT4 Standard Volume Indicators (I do) as it shows 3 states within each volume bar (buying, selling, and matched) If you watch the bars as they build you can see in realtime to which side the activity is strongest.
Enjoy.Ignored
Dislikedso anywhere we can read where it explains how to decipher this indicator?
isn't matching = selling or buying (whichever is higher)?
thank you.Ignored

DislikedI ask the same question;
But anyway, I noticed it repaints... when the current volume and bar are changing, all the volumes behind keep changing size and colours... so I wonder what would be the appropriate way to read it, if it still can be used.
Another thing would be to limit the bars it calculates (like 300 in a previous volume indi), to avoid memory issues.
Edit:
I saw Mal's answer... but that pdf refers to another volumes indi, which paints bars/volumes to identify patterns;
This one we're talking about colours volume to show buying/selling/neutral...Ignored
DislikedHi Mal,
The questions weren't about the better volume indi;
It's about the "volume histogram" indi, by Forex Flash, which ShamusFamous added now to the first page.
It's an indi which colours the volume in 3 different colours, to show buying/selling/neutral changes in it.Ignored
Dislikeddo not like that ...... used it once ... just got me confused I like to keep it simpleIgnored
