hey guys,
although I checked in for a test ride in the beginning, unfortunately there are too many things for me at the moment so I won't be of any help for a while.
you know it's funny, despite the fact that thousands of people in my profession lost their jobs and I'm kinda grateful for having one, it's still a bit tiring to work 10-12 hours a day. I guess I'm working instead of thousands now?
anyway I'll let you know if things are more at ease and have more time to follow your thread - until that keep up the usual good work!
regards, hsa

ps: Wolf my friend, I see you are still converting people to the VSA method good-good!

ps2: I've managed to put my paws on an ECN MT4 platform (sourced from MBTrading tonight with 10,000 funny money), I'm quite excited to find out how different it is from a normal dealing desk broker version.

That's ok, I was moving so fast to get the numbers re-entered again that for all I know your results tomorrow may be reflective of playmate of the month's dimensions!!!

Before I get into this tonight, I wanted to mention that all of you helping us here should have gotten an updated version which will hopefully have the bugs fixed. Also I have added EurUsd back into the mix since AudUsd does not give us enough daily reward for the risk. I also hope to be experimenting with gold and silver soon as well, just not tonight.

Hi All -

In the lastest version I've added back the expertID.........for the 2nd set of values change the expertID....necessary because we are trading the same pair in the same TF.......so.....we need a unique magic number for the second set to avoid an ea operating on a trade it did not take.

Sorry about the bugs at the end of last week.......had some medical issues in the family and was trying to do too much to late in the day without proper testing. This new version hopefully has repaired the damage and put us back on track...will know tomorrow

Gary

Guys,

Sorry, I was late to the party due to a Junior Cotillion Ball I had to chaperone for my son that went a little longer than expected. I'm dialed in now, will report my results tomorrow.

Gary,

Your script you sent to remove all of the pending orders at the same time in one fell swoop worked like a charm - THANK YOU!!!! To be safe, I changed the Expert ID on EACH of the chart EAs to be unique, not just the second set. Hope that is ok? And...I actually remembered the Exit Margins and GTM Offset this time too!

Damon,

I will do my best to calc my own projections soon. I think I'm getting the hang of all of this slowly but surely.

The script is in the EA. It is suppose to delete pending orders that are invalid. When you push the expert button, they should all dissappear.

did they?

I applied the script he sent me via email first, then loaded the new version EA so I can't say for sure, Damon. We'll find out later today though if the EA does it solo.

Junior,

It was probably just because I'm special - LOL! No, seriously, I pinged him about it inquiring if there was a better way to do it other than 1-by-1 deletion. That, coupled with lack of time on Gary's part with all he has going on these days, he probably didn't get a chance to blast it out to all. I doubt we will need that script going forward as Damon pointed out it is now incorporated into the EA but just in case, it's attached here. If you do have to use it, make sure you note the file name as there is a similar one that comes built into MT4 that goes by a similar name.

PS> It is a script so make sure you put it in your Scripts folder and then drag and drop onto your specific pair charts with all the pending orders to be deleted.
